Love that the park is so untouched! Unlike any other national park that I've been to!

The hike is well worth the trip. Maybe a half an hour or so up but the view from the top is well worth it!

Morton Arboretum is a favorite spot for families year-round, but its extra special in the fall. Visitors can hike the trails, run through the maze or just sit and admire the brilliant fall colors.
Very nice park on the outskirts of Madison, IN. I've seen more wildlife in this park than any other state park I've been in. Deer, turkey, coyote, squirrel. Nice campground and rugged walking trails.

Plenty of trails to explore and a nice visitor's center. If anyone in your group has difficulty walking, boardwalk trail by visitors center is short but still stunning.

Thunder Hole was a treasure. Also, take a trip up Cadillac Mountain for spectacular views!
One of the most diverse park. Lots of activities and lots of natural beauty. Beach, Mountain biking trails, hiking trails, boating etc etc. Something for everyone who loves to unwind outdoors.

The left trail is much steeper than the right trail. If you want to feel like you are really climbing a mountain go to the left! View from the top is well worth it though!
Kings Pinnacle trail is a great way to exercise and you are rewarded by an excellent view of the Queen City on a clear day. Crowders Mnt is the perfect place for an easy day trip from Charlotte.
The sites are beautiful and the loop is worth the ride if you like nature drives with the occassional stop off to look at the view. Great for photography!
My favorite autumn hiking spot. The foliage peaks around mid to late October and it's absolutely beautiful. $7 per person to get in, but it's worth it, I promise!
Mt Flume & Mt Liberty are not for beginners - newbies to hiking, take the Liberty Spring Trail and avoid Mt Flume unless you're prepared to summit both mountains. The views are worth it though.
Great place to walk, hike, bike, picnic and bring the dog. The loop is easy to moderate and there is plenty to keep you interested throughout.
Take the hike to the Exploration Peak ~ it's a great view and there's a little bit of Vegas history to be learned.
THE BEST hiking in the NYC vicinity. Take the metro north train from grand central, but come prepared with food and water! The train stop has none of it. Continue on to beacon tower!

Literally I can't get enough of this place. It's close to my home bout 35 min' drive and I go back and forth every other week. You can walk, run, set, surf and even enjoy a delicious lobster roll.

Stunning... come through during off peak season to avoid crowds and traffic. It's well worth the chill.
