L.: I have since decided this is the best comic book store in the city. Mostly because of the people: knowledgeable yes, but not pretentious. It's a very inviting and fun atmosphere they've created.
venessa tarbell: Excellent children's immigration museum. They charge by the family, making this a very affordable afternoon. Afterwards, wander up and down Clark Street in Andersonville for food and window shopping.

It's A Major Plus: The Oyako Don is excellent. Start with the Gyoza, Edamame, Tsukemono. The Ika Geso (calamari legs) are also really good. They have good soba & udon noodle dishes, too. Home style.
Chris Steele: Pick up a bottle of something tempting and bring it to one of the several nearby BYOB dining spots. If you don't see what you want, ask. They might just begin stocking it by the next time you're in.
