our favorite place to stay on this trip. comfortable rooms, with sweeping views of the coast, and just a short travel into town by foot or bus. lovely, friendly hosts. very recommended
the saunas are really quality, with 85,95,&100°. the view is lovely, the pools are chlorinated, but water is thermal spring. travelers beware: German saunas are nude & mixed, not for the overly modest

The menu is seasonal, the autumn plate with chestnuts was sensational, as were las trufas, wow! One of the most creative/interesting vegetarian places in Barcelona, flavor play! and great staff. (Km0)
vegetarian friendly restaurant, fantastic, with changing menu. if only Basque restaurants used more of their quality ingredients to make this sort of menu, instead of ubiquitous tapas. ++ recommended
A very special restaurant, food made with care and touches of herbs straight from the garden. Tiramisu and pineapple dessert were lovely, as was gazpacho, so special with its variety of garden greens.
I like this place, food and ingredients are always earnest and quality. It's standard local fair, nice oily bravas with crunchy potatoes and mayo and spice on the side.
Nice little cafe, with friendly service, and a fantastic variety of pastries, and little cakes (among other things). Quality ingredients, no lard used as in many Spanish bakeries. Really recommended!
It's pizza by the slice, something that outside of Italy tends to be disgusting, but this place is quality, real Italian spot. Veg and vegan options as well, a new favorite! Recommended!
Honestly best coffee on Barcelona for neighborhood prices. Forget nomad, and all the hipster stuff, can't compete. Americano is 1€ and of best quality, real neighborhood spot. So glad to live nearby.
Feminist vegan place with best bravas around (really!) Also great croquetas (yes also vegan) burgers etc. Outside courtyard, and spacious wooden tables, really nice space
first impressions were very positive, but our second visit brought a soggy crust, and too much cheese. I think it's a bit hit and miss here, but overall ballpark of authentic Italian pizza

The tea selection is really great, fan of golden monkey and oolongs. Their dishes are really nice, everything from cookies to hot plates.
