Wide range of sweets & cakes to choose from. The food is good too, a lot of local specialities.
The food is good, especially the breakfast & the desserts. Try the baked pear. The service was quick. I especially liked the cappuccino and 'Nenea Iancu' beer.
2015: O piscina cu adancime 1.5m, o piscina copii. 20 lei intrarea/adult, sezlong gratis. Nu au vestiare. Nu foarte aglomerat in timpul saptamanii. Restaurant cu grill in incinta.
Good beer & food. Large portions, good prices. The food may take longer to arrive but it's worth it. The terrace is crowded in the afternoon. After 10 pm they stop serving outside (noise regulations).
Lovely place for a coffe and a kanelbulle or cake. Kind of crowded inside at lunchtime, better sit outside under the chestnut tree.

Small, charming and cosy place to have breakfast or brunch. The bagels (4-7€) are delicious. The coffee comes with a complimentary piece of cake.
Nice terrace, service is ok. The place and people here are a little bit snobby. I had the schnitzel: it comes with fries and 2 sauces, it's covered in seeds which make it a bit too heavy for dinner.

Nice food with german influences, not the healthyest but delicious. The best french fries ever. The burger, the ribs and the wurst are good, the schnitzel is perfect and very big. Salads are awful.
A good place to party in the summer. Nice music (from rock/metal to dubstep to goldies). Drink prices are medium-high. They don't take reservations.
2015: they added new dishes to the menu. I especially like the quesadilla, fried calamari, chicken laos, garlic soup, salmon. Service is good. Big non-smoking place. No dogs allowed, not even outside.
Great coffee, healthy food, friendly & passionate staff. Also dog and child friendly place. A bit hard to find a parking space, but it's worth it.
The best and most sophisticated eclairs in bucharest. I often skip dessert at the restaurant and choose to have a french eclair instead. Try a box with multiple flavours. They also have good coffee.
The food was excellent, the tables outside have a nice view (although sometimes cars pass by). But the prices are clearly aimed at the foreign tourists: expect at least 10€ for main course & side dish
