bring your fat skis and you'll leave with a massive smile on your face.

@JaumePrimeroNoviembre 27, 2011For those of you who don't know, there is no snowboarding allowed in Alta. One of the reasons why I love this resort so very much. 10,550 feet, vertical drop of 2020 feet, 116+ runs!

Molly GilbertMarzo 28, 2011Follow the skiers in Arcteryx jackets on traverses. They will show you the light. Just don't come to a dead stop on the traverse or else they'll show you the back of their glove.
DRAZMarzo 9, 2015If u are on a snowboard u can get here from Baldy and then hate carve ur way down under the lift
If the weather is bad off the Collins lift, try Supreme- Snowboarders are not allowed to take the lift, but if you board over from Snowbird, you can slide down the mountain.
Alta bowl and front-side groomers on a sunny day
$25 lift tickets - good for the entire mountain after 2:30pm
It's hard to say which is better, Alta vs Snowbird. I love em both!
