Great town within the boundaries of a state park. Hiking, biking, kayaking, rafting, camping, great restaurants, pubs and outfitters are here. Close to Fallingwater as well. #visitUS, #4sqCities
Angie Purcell: Great class II-III whitewater river. Make sure to purchase your launch permit and shuttle token at the put-in near the falls. Shuttle is a great way to get back to town after your trip on the river.
Angie Purcell: Nice boardwalk and viewing area around the falls. Go in August and see kayakers run over the 18 foot waterfall in the Ohiopyle Falls Festival.
@HungryEditor Ben Setiawan: It can get crowded at times, so be courteous and don't lounge around if there are ppl waiting for a table. There are hungry rafters that could use some grub & a seat.
visitPA: Local ingredients make this Nemacolin eatery fresh, good & green. You cant stop without trying the Truffle & White Cheddar Mac and Cheese. Oh, my yummy!
