The Bamboo Salad

A blend of organic kohala grown greens garnished with fresh seasonal hawaiian treats and roasted macadamia nuts with your choice of homemade papaya seed dressing or balsamic vinaigrette.

The Caesar Macnut

A classic caesar salad with a big island twist - tossed with kohala grown macadamia nuts, garlic croutons, and grated parmesan cheese.

Green Papaya Salad

Fresh julienned green papaya, carrots, tomato, cucumber, mint, cilantro and bermuda onions tossed in a spicy chili-lime vinaigrette.

Crispy goat cheese polenta atop organic local greens, garnished with calamata olives and tomatoes, and dressed with our lilikoi mustard dressing.

Vietnamese "Tossed" Salad

Thai Fish, Shrimp, Chicken or Tofu Salad

Our spicy blend of julienned green papya, cucumber, onion, tomato, mint, cilantro peanuts and carrots tossed in a chili lime vinaigrette with grilled fish, shrimp organic chicken, or tofu.

Chicken Caesar Salad

A classic caesar salad sprinkled with macadamia nuts (grown here in kohala! ) And garlic croutons, then topped with marinated, grilled, free range chicken.

Beef Tenderloin

A thickly cut 10 oz. Filet of tender beef, grilled to your taste and finished with our jack daniels and carmelized maui onion "tipsy" sauce. Also available in a petite 5 oz. Portion.

Ko'ala a Opai (Surf and Turf)

A juicy 5 oz. Filet and three black tiger shrimp, flame-broiled and nestled on a green papaya salad, then finished with roasted pineapple barbeque sauce.

Barbecued Pork Babyback Ribs

Ok...this is it. Our "broke da mouth" ribs, grilled with homemade roasted pineapple barbecue sauce. A full rack - and we mean a rack! Also a half rack or a petite portion.

Chargrilled New York Steak

A 12 ounce cut of tender new York steak, grilled to your liking, and served plain and simple, peppercorn crushed, or with our jack daniels "tipsy" sauce.

Kohala Cordon and Kalua

Macadamia nut crusted organic chicken breasts wrapped around Smokey kalua pork and swiss cheese, oven baked until hot and juicy, and then topped with our lilikoi mustard glaze.

At bamboo, we pride ourselves in using only the freshest fish available from local waters, caught by fishermen from our own community. All fish dishes are offered in full or petite portions.

Coconut Crusted

A crispy, light coconut crust on the fresh fish of the day, served with your choice of potatoes or rice, drizzled with our sweet chili aioli and served with the fresh green vegetable of the day. Available in full or half portions.

Artichoke Lemon Cream

Plump artichoke hearts in a tangy cream sauce accented with lemon and fresh parsley. Topped with capers and served with crispy goat cheese polenta and the fresh vegetable of the day.

Hawaii Thai

Herb grilled and basted with a bouqet of Thai flavors: coconut milk, ginger, and sweet chili, then textured with fresh bean sprouts, cilantro, and peanuts.

Crispy Polenta

A crispy goat cheese polenta, laid atop a bed of organic greens.... your fish is then lightly grilled and finished with our lilikoi mustard sauce.

A classic risotto with artichoke hearts, calamata olives, garlic and parmesan cheese. Set on a bed of fresh spinach and topped with the fresh fish of the day, tiger shrimp, and scallops, then drizzled with sun dried tomato aioli.

A note about our cuisine...we call our cuisine "fresh island style," since, like the people of our island, we combine the foods of east and west, and create a unique new blend of these flavors. We make every effort to bring you the freshest foods available by supporting local farmers and families as they bring us their fresh fish, fruits and vegetables each day. We grow flowers and herbs in our own organic garden overlooking the sea. As we celebrate our seventeenth year, we say "mahalo" to you all and we genuinely hope you enjoy your bamboo taste of hawaii!

Mocha Cappuccino Cheesecake

We won the kona coffee festival with this one! Creamy and crunchy at the same time, light cappuccino swirled with mocha on a chocolate, caramel, and macadamia nut crust.

Kohala Lime Pie

Similar to a key lime pie, but richer and more like a cheesecake. The crust is granola, coconut and madadamia nuts, and we're growing organic limes for this pie right here in town!

Bamboo Brulee

It's a different flavor every day but it will have a crispy caramelized top that you'll have to "break through" to find the creamy flavor!

Raspberry Infusion

Our special liqueur the fruity tangy sweetness is ummmmmmm...

White Chocolate Passion Fruit Cheesecake

Bamboo is the largest consumer of passion fruit, or "lilikoi," in the state of hawaii! This is one reason why: creamy white chocolate and lilikoi in an old fashioned shortbread cookie crust, then drizzled with lilikoi.

Belgian Chocolate Mousse Torte

Chocolate lovers alert! This is it. Dark, rich, melt in your mouth, don't want to share it, chocolate mousse, so thick it's a torte because we couldn't get it in a bowl!
