Come for the architecture, stay for the art, and top up with the bars and restaurants.
It's not as famous as its generalist neighbour, but it's well worth a visit in its own right. Keep an eye out for temporary exhibitions, too, although not all of them are worth the money.
When I was a kid I preferred the Natural History and Science museums, but now the art, design, and architecture in this museum proves more diverting. A must see.
Walk here from the Great Marlborough Street side to avoid the crowds, and hope that's it's a bright day for the camera obscura.
Walk some or all of the 1820s canal from Limehouse to Little Venice. Watch out for the bikes.
If there's nothing in the arts centre you want to see, at least you can wander around the imposing architecture.
