The Skinny Pancake is a great addition to BTV.
Beware if TSA-lines for the 6am flights - brutal! Especially for Delta and JetBlue!

MeredithFebrero 9, 2011Longterm parking and parking garage cost the same. I dunno why; seems to defeat the purpose. Garage now has more covered spaces.
Be sure to listen for your flight- they board several flights from the same gate.

Great airport to fly into and out of..minimal security fuss
There is free wifi throughout the terminal!
Give yourself extra time. I swear, the Slowest security in the country
When you are trying to get out of Vermont, this the place to be.
Make sure to pick up a copy of BTV or Seven Days!
Park & shuttle is no longer available. You have to park in the garage @ $12/day. :-(
The rental car people are nice, but don't realize you're not there for the endless small talk
- Delta now has first class to JFK. Great frequent flyer perk.
Leave your change in your pocket for a free pat down by TSA. No tip required!
45 minutes later still waiting for bags...must be the weed breaks?
Flying an airline that charges for bags? Take your bag as a carry-on then volunteer to plane-side check it at gate before they board the plane. Free bags. Or just fly JetBlue.
