The 2010 perli has a wonderful balance between fruit and earth. Cherry aromas are balanced by cedar, strawberry and violets are balanced by mint. On the palate there are noticable tannins from the thicker skins we get from the perli vineyard giving this wine many layers to peel back from first taste through the long finish.

Stylistically this wine is very much in the style of a dry gewürztraminer from the alsace region of france.

The perli vineyard is situated on a steep mountain slope at just under 1,800 feet in elevation in remote mendocino county in northern california.
