A pilgrimage place in Berlin--one I always have to visit. Call ahead and if you're lucky, they will actually answer the phone and you can book. Otherwise, prepare to wait...and wait. But oh is it good
Much better than the Royal--quality here is always consistent and good. Spicy tuna salad is a great way to start!
The Wednesday and Saturday buffet are the best time to come and sample--especially if you're not so sure what to order off the menu! Nice, laid-back family-run place.
OMG bimbimbap! Follow the crowd and order it too--have visited Korea and this is pretty close to the real deal. Share the kimchi 'pizza' as a starter.

Prices are insanely cheap for a full-service restaurant like this, with great quality and ample portions. What's not to love? Bonus bruschetta appetizers and grappa digestifs on the house.
First place in Berlin (or Germany) where I've found a piccolo as a coffee bar option. Quiches were lovely...everything a bit pricier than your usual cafe.
A little slice of Cali-mex heaven. Carnitas are perfect, with adobo beef a close second--great on quesadillas or burritos. Guac is top-notch and love the salsa crudo (peanut one a bit weird and Asian)
