The peasant sandwich is an old hangover fixer-upper I still think about from time to time. Great chicken matzoh ball soup and hot open roast beef. Favorite diner staff in the area, too.

One of the few diners that I'll drive out of my way to visit. Nicely sized portions, good food. The soups are always a pleasure.

Disagree with comment about service. It can be hectic sometimes because it's popular and yet I find everyone very friendly. It's a great traditional 24 hr diner. Cherish it.

C HsiehAbril 17, 2019At 1am: I got the Reuben and asked for fries instead of potato salad. Portions were huge and well-cooked. Nothing really impressed me but nothing disappointed either... I'd be willing to visit again.

The food is good but they have Franks Red Hot sauce. So if you aren't too crazy about your order, spice it up. This place serves its purpose. Stop in and relax.
