Ribs, wings, fried green tomatoes all great. My favorite bbq in NYC. Try the hot Wango tango sauce.

As recommended, Fried Green Tomatoes and Mac & Cheese are a must. If too packed, bar may be okay for 2/3 ppl. Excellent ribs.

A carnivores paradise. Rustic, woody, and brash! Food can pretty be described the same. Side dishes are hit or miss. Location is off the beaten path, but worth a trip. Drinks are great! Food coma!

A rustic, appealing spot with whitewashed walls & West African décor, the funky-yet-traditional approach is best seen in dishes like salade Nicoise, escargot and coq au vin. High energy, great music.

Deliciously flavorful BBQ!! Gotta say though - the pulled pork, brisket and Mac & Cheese (as AMAZING as they are here) are better at their Brooklyn location.

Pretty solid bbq. Ribs are a great dish to share. Just make sure you have a reservation because waits can be ridiculous - up to 3 hours on a weekend.

Avoid the Mac & cheese and hot link sausage. Can't go wrong with the ribs and pulled pork. Excellent selection of beers for everyone's tastes.

It gets really crowded on the weekends. Make sure to reserve a table otherwise the wait is at least 45 minutes. Just a heads up to all my hangry folks.

Best BBQ around. I love the wango tango wings. Also, the salt potatoes are unreal. Even for someone who has had a lot of salt potatoes growing up these are like no others.

There are few places in New York that know their meat like Dinosaur BBQ. The BBQ's meat here is obviously the star, but don't forget about the fantastic salt potatoes and fried green tomatoes.

The food is fantastic but don't order your whiskey neat. They'll pour you a larger shot and charge you for a shot and a half without telling you because that's "how they do it."

The sweet potato purée is amazing. All of their sides are fantastic actually. But the main dishes are just solid, not amazing.

Up near Morningside Heights is some of the best BBQ in the city, but it's the fried green tomatoes and mac n cheese that make this place awesome.

Finger lickin' good bar-b-que! Love going here. It's a great vibe and people from all backgrounds are at this joint. The have live music on the weekends. Worth a trip to Harlem!

It gets packed at dinner time, so the earlier you go the better, but the tables by the bar are all first come first serve. You must order a plate of fried green tomatoes.

the best BBQ in NYC. call ahead to make reservations or get there early Thur-Sat. otherwise it's a mad scramble to grab a table at the bar or out front. great beer selection on tap, too.

Enjoyed everything on the swag sampler plate. Preferred the brisket over the pulled pork. Ribs were good. Cajun potato salad better choice over boiled potato. Southern creamy style w egg.

Best chicken wings. Like the pulled pork more than the brisket. Mac n cheese is my favorite side.
