- Ribs, wings, fried green tomatoes all great. My favorite bbq in NYC. Try the hot Wango tango sauce.
- HectorDiciembre 22, 2010As recommended, Fried Green Tomatoes and Mac & Cheese are a must. If too packed, bar may be okay for 2/3 ppl. Excellent ribs.
- DailyCandyNoviembre 20, 2013It’s out-of-the-way location doesn’t deter crowds who chow down on short ribs, pulled pork, and sides of Syracuse salt potatoes — a staple that harks from the original brick-and-mortar upstate.
- Ms. Dee BellEnero 27, 2012A carnivores paradise. Rustic, woody, and brash! Food can pretty be described the same. Side dishes are hit or miss. Location is off the beaten path, but worth a trip. Drinks are great! Food coma!
- amNewYorkOctubre 10, 2011A rustic, appealing spot with whitewashed walls & West African décor, the funky-yet-traditional approach is best seen in dishes like salade Nicoise, escargot and coq au vin. High energy, great music.
- cwhOctubre 27, 201313 wango tango as main, side of BBQ fried rice & choose one more (ask what side of the day and soup are!)
- Jessica BishopOctubre 24, 2014Huge plate of BBQ, brisket and ribs plus 2 sides and cornbread. Best BBQ I've had in NYC!

- Chris EvansAbril 1, 2015Pretty solid bbq. Ribs are a great dish to share. Just make sure you have a reservation because waits can be ridiculous - up to 3 hours on a weekend.
- Jonathan L.Septiembre 15, 2014Avoid the Mac & cheese and hot link sausage. Can't go wrong with the ribs and pulled pork. Excellent selection of beers for everyone's tastes.
- Vincent SteursNoviembre 14, 2013Get the tres hombres (when you are hungry), or tres niños (when you are less hungry). You get to try three of the best options on the menu.
- Ryan GingeryOctubre 26, 2019It gets really crowded on the weekends. Make sure to reserve a table otherwise the wait is at least 45 minutes. Just a heads up to all my hangry folks.
- Best BBQ around. I love the wango tango wings. Also, the salt potatoes are unreal. Even for someone who has had a lot of salt potatoes growing up these are like no others.
- Bullfrog & BaumSeptiembre 13, 2011There are few places in New York that know their meat like Dinosaur BBQ. The BBQ's meat here is obviously the star, but don't forget about the fantastic salt potatoes and fried green tomatoes.
- Carmen Gloria RiquelmeMarzo 18, 2016The food is a little heavy, sauce is the best and the potatoes.Nice ambient, weekends is better make a reservation. Sometimes live music

- AlexSeptiembre 14, 2013Best meal .. For desert skip the menu an just ask for corn bread and whipped cream you'll thank me .
- Joy AllenJulio 6, 2014The food is fantastic but don't order your whiskey neat. They'll pour you a larger shot and charge you for a shot and a half without telling you because that's "how they do it."
- Leanne ZDiciembre 17, 2015Just come here! Gets crowded so make a reservation if you have a group. If it's date night, get beers at the bar while you wait.
- Tiffany LangstonSeptiembre 4, 2014Super popular. Expect hour-long waits during peak dining times. The barbecue is pretty good, but the fried green tomatoes are where it's at

- David ZhangSeptiembre 21, 2014The sweet potato purée is amazing. All of their sides are fantastic actually. But the main dishes are just solid, not amazing.

- Katie DesmondOctubre 9, 2010the best BBQ in NYC. call ahead to make reservations or get there early Thur-Sat. otherwise it's a mad scramble to grab a table at the bar or out front. great beer selection on tap, too.
- Natalie S.Diciembre 4, 2011Enjoyed everything on the swag sampler plate. Preferred the brisket over the pulled pork. Ribs were good. Cajun potato salad better choice over boiled potato. Southern creamy style w egg.
- Try the SWAG SAMPLER PLATE - Wings, fried green tomatoes, shrimp and deviled eggs... Nicely done!

- mary lisleyOctubre 9, 2011Love love love this place! If you are ever in Syracuse, NY you have to go to the original. The vibe is completely different but still the same great food!
- AhmedEnero 18, 2014The best chicken wings I ever had and you MUST have the salty potato on the side. Great mac&cheese too.
- Swift SwiftAgosto 2, 2015Get the ribs, sweet potatoes, and mac & cheese. Skip everything else. Spicy BBQ sauce is the one.
- Matt HantzFebrero 18, 2013As a native Rochesterian, the wings with the garlic/chipotle/pepper sauce are very nostalgic, evoking images of wide right, no goal and Keith Smart.
- Denise D.Abril 9, 2023The brisket is so tasty. I’ll pass on the Mac and cheese but the potato salad was perfect as a side to my meal.
- Best chicken wings. Like the pulled pork more than the brisket. Mac n cheese is my favorite side.
