There is some good shopping airside, world duty free, mac, Kurtz Geiger, boots, dixons.
Ganesh MurthyJunio 7, 2018EDI has only 1 terminal. Checking in and bag drop is slower - fewer counters. Security screening flags lot of bags but most times nothing is found. Arrive early! Lounge is very average.

Try chilling around gate 7 nice and quiet - well some of the time
often long queues at security in the morning as they don't open all security lanes so arrive early!

Drop off shuttle includes the Hilton so can jump on or off on to save going inside airport
Nero at gate 7 bakes its pastries fresh on site. You get them still got first thing.
Don't wear an airside pass when catching a flight as they aren't allowed to serve you alcohol with one. I learnt the hard way
Fast track security queue is often longer than the regular queue, save your money!
