- Robert AmezquitaJunio 20, 2015Kyoto drip and chai latte or both must-haves here. Pair these with the hipster vibe and dedication to a perfect brew by the staff, and careful pours of Chemex coffee, and you've got a real treat.
- Probably my favorite coffee shop in Philly. They have great beans, great interior design, and it's a great place to relax or get work done. It's like an oasis in the middle of Center City.
- The coffee is very good, i got a cappuccino. One of the best ive tried in the city. Its a little small not a lot of seating, a great place to do work. Would come back againVotación a favor hace Mar 9
- Amy CoatesAgosto 21, 2016Espresso is fresh, bright, acidic/fruity. Couches have a hundred power outlets along the bottom - great for charging your phone.
- Their Lunar Lander espresso is AWESOME. Their house blend coffee is perfect for when you're craving a really good cup of coffee. It gets crowded during the day, but grab a seat and chill if you can.
- Ken SJulio 3, 2015A great variety of coffee optima between pour over and espresso drinks. The coffee is roasted not too far away. This is a great spot for coffee and socializing with a friend.
- Nathan GammieSeptiembre 15, 2013A must visit! Perfect ambience for hanging out with lots of comfortable seating. Sip and learn amazing pour overs from Intelligentsia and George Howell. (And features a cool bathroom, to boot.)
- Hamid Alan9aryAgosto 12, 2019I tried 4 coffees on the 1st visit 😅👍🏼 all were good. My fav was the Columbian coffee and the cappuccino. Banana bread was also 👍🏼 v friendly team
- Ashley GilesNoviembre 27, 2019Great atmosphere. Good place to settle in with coffee and your laptop if you need to work. Gets busy though and free seats are hard to come by.
- Maria FOctubre 12, 2016I enjoyed my chai latte, but it was hard to find a seat at 11 am on a Wednesday and NONE of the wifi networks worked for me. The many lurkers were all happy to take my spot on the couch.
- Mina LeeAgosto 26, 2014BEST. Favorite coffee shop hands down. Everyone here is super nice and patient. Every food and drink offering is perfection. Free wifi too! Also, the rotating murals are the coolest to come check out!
- BaturalpMarzo 11, 2019They make great pour-over coffee and it's hard to find a spot on the weekends. You will find interesting design details at the store.
- Shahrzad ShamsJulio 19, 2017Gotta love this place. One of the first cafés I discovered in Philly. Amazing coffee, good vibe+music. Lovely staff. I work here often. Love its laid back atmosphere and cool wall murals.
- Nohra MuradSeptiembre 2, 2018Espresso is some of the best in the city. Cafe is frequently packed, so get ready for lots of people studying! Banana bread is incredible - you wouldn't believe it's gluten free.
- Daniel CastonguayAgosto 10, 2014Great pour over coffee that is sourced and roasted by Elixr themselves. The Ethiopian blend was delicious with a caramel and fruity taste. The atmosphere is warm and the people are friendly!
- This is my favorite cafe in Philly. Since moving to their new location, there's more seating! A small but solid selection of tea and sandwiches keeps me happy and the people are friendly.
- They have so many outlets and cool wallpaper! The coffee and pastry selection is nice, too.
- Coffee is amazing and they have a fantastic selection of vegan pastries (the cinnamon roll is my favorite).
- Joe PerryAgosto 8, 2014I won't lie, I'm a DD coffee with cream and sugar man. The way these baristas prepare the coffee here is such a process and the end result is one of the most satisfying black coffees you'll ever have.
- Ro JAgosto 1, 2014They used to use Intelligentsia. Now they roast their own which is still pretty great. Must do if you're in Philly.
- KassAgosto 18, 2014Such a cool coffee shop. Great baristas, excellent coffee and cappuccinos, decent desserts, and a super cool bathroom to boot. Wifi and seating are come and go.
- My favorite coffee shop in Philly, hands down! Love the giant tables, great music, , interior design, and free wifi. They also accept Pay with Square! PS: The new location looks sick!
- Thirsty JamesJunio 19, 2014Tucked away on a side street off Walnut, no almond milk but you really don't want to mess with the flavor of this roast, two thumbs up!
- Elizabeth WalkerEnero 26, 2015Cool place to hang, really friendly and talented baristas, and they definitely know what they're doing! Elixr hit the spot for my cappuccino needs!
- John BoothJulio 10, 2016Excellent cafe, loads of seating and a relaxed friendly vibe. Coffee is great with a good selection of pour overs and espresso drinks.
- Priciest cup of coffee in Center City, but the hand pours are totally worth it: they bring out the subtle flavors of the varietals.
- Fantastic iced lattes. Tied with La Colombe for the best in Center City.
- A SF feel in Philly. Great place to work and enjoy one of life's true pleasures, a finely brewed coffee.
- Really good coffee, although the pour overs are quite pricey. Selection of pastries is good. I recommend getting regular drip coffee.
- Andrew FurmanNoviembre 3, 2015This coffee shop is kinda hidden in an ally. Awesome cold brew, and sweet vibes inside.
- Adrian PhillipsOctubre 1, 2017Solid espresso located down a little street off Walnut. Pastries looked good but I didn’t try any cause I wasn’t that hungry. Space is a good size but every seat was occupied by people on laptops.
- Anneliese KingFebrero 12, 2015Staff is awesome, great coffee and pastries. Monster cookie is huge and awesome, who'da known gluten free could be so goood
- Diana BrodyOctubre 7, 2016This place is gorgeous, and they make a delicious americano. The latte art on my friend's cappuccino was beautiful!

- Ariel DiazAgosto 24, 2014Espresso is amazing. Cold brew and drip also terrific. Lovely atmosphere. Great almond milk latte.
- Visit PhillySeptiembre 23, 2011A 2011 New York Times article calls this Rittenhouse Square coffee shop (with their Kansas-based small batch roasted PT’s Coffee Roasting Company beans) “Southpaw Espresso at its finest.”
- Sophia HSeptiembre 7, 2015Good espresso. Nice intimate cozy environment and good outdoor seating in a relatively isolated, quiet alley
- If you see a bunch of exposed brick, plaster, pipes, or even wire, it's intentional. The interior is made mostly of reclaimed materials. The bar counter is from a bathroom from Penn ;)
- Rory DoehringJulio 12, 2015Their espresso has a great rich flavor. The lemon poppyseed donut pairs well with a latte.
