Just go straight to the observation deck. The NY Skyride tour/simulation is not worth the extra time or aggravation. Not to mention their poor organization at running it.

Do NOT spend the extra money to go to the 102nd floor. It is small and lame! There is no open air, and it only takes about 30 seconds to walk around the whole space. No lie!!
