I know there are few other Thai places on Taylor st, but this place is my favorite place in Chicago now. Tom yam soup was spicy and delicious, and I will be frequenting here this winter for sure
Broth is thick and not your traditional ramen...but that's probably why I like this place!
Vegetarian options are great and food was so flavorful. I also recommend their honey wine sangria.
I like their food and BYOB is nice too. Not my favorite Thai place in Chicago, though.
Best tasting and cheapest sushi place in Chicago, imo. It's cash only and take-out only. Usually go to Montrose beach afterwards.
Portion is large - I had one scoop of butter pecan ice cream on sugar cone and it was more than enough. Good ice cream, especially the home made ones.
With a sashimi platter we got a variety of fish, which all were fresh & tasty. This is one of few places that I can get plum wine (umeshu), which I suggest if you like sweet wine.
Rolls are fancy but I like the nigiri selections since the fish taste so fresh. Best dessert is definitely green tea creme brulee
Their burritos always hit the spot. Great value for the portion they give you (which is a lot)
Old fashion donut is always a good choice, but my favorite is Boston cream donut!
Ice cream sandwich is good, but I love their old fashion donuts. My favorite donuts place in Chicago so far.
I usually get pho Thai. Their broth is good, and they give you good portion. I especially like their Vietnamese spring roll with Shrimp!
