If you want to eat here, you need to make a reservation and take a boat from the City Palace. The guards at City Palace can help you get set up.
If you must try luwat coffee, get it somewhere like here. Unlike many places in Indonesia, they care about the treatment of the civets and the quality of the coffee.
Don't underestimate the power of the sun. You'll be out for hours, and it's not realistic to reapply sunscreen once you're on the waves.
