A 50/50 mix of Dr Pong in Berlin and The Poolbar in Amsterdam. Two of my favourite bars in one, of course it was ace.

Fat Cat boasts the best basement playground in the city. When you're done with pool, you can belly up to the bar, or dominate a Ping-Pong table, or crash on the many thrift-store couches.

Play ping pong for a pretty cheap price. Live music is also a nice touch. Or, if you're in the mood to play chess, this is the place to be. Fun for small or large groups.

Pool for $6.50 per person / game. Shuffleboard $13 an hour / table. Scrabble is the best deal in the house at $1 per game.

Muito bacana. Sinuca, Ping Pong e vários outros jogos. Todo tipo de som e o show foi muito legal. 3 pilas de entrada. No balcão tome uma Magic Hat e um Gin Sauer. No White Russians here.

Ping pong, billiards, foosball, shuffleboard, board games 👍🏼Barely a wait on a Friday if you come around 6-7pm. But after 10pm there’s a long line on a Friday night.

The quintessential dive NYC pool room. No-frills, quite spacious, and a great hangout. Plenty of alcohol flowing with table service. Ping-pong in the back. No TVs.

Hit It Sunday night at 8:30, when it's uncrowded, lotsa game tables are free, & the house Big Band plays. (= The most extraordinary assemblage of young jazz talent in the city, yours for a $3 cover)

The co-existence of a concert venue and pool hall is nice on paper, not in reality. You really have to love the music and be able to ignore all the others not listening to it at all.
