Montezuma is a beautiful little town. The "downtown" is less than 2 small city blocks. It's got beaches, multiple waterfalls, restaurants and lots of hotels. Do not miss this gem of Costa Rica.
Go 2 hours up the beach and you'll hit a water fall that has a tiny pool that pours right into the ocean. Bring lots of supplies, it's a long walk and no places to get supplies.
Great staff. They've got butterfly gardens (can't remember co$t). After the upper falls I come back the way that comes by here and relax on the balcony drinking a cold soda.
This bar / restaurant is in the center of town and if any place is busy, it's here. I like the penne pasta, I get it a few times each trip.
It's Costa Rica's most untouched national park. $10 to get in. Closed Mon. + Tues. A short 90-minute loop or 2 hours to the beach + 2 hrs back. Both are a very steep up and down hike. Leer más.
