Grendel's DenFebrero 28, 2012The people at Foursquare hi-jacked Grendel's Venue page to advertise a check-in special that they are running which misleads people into thinking that Grendel's has a $10 rebate, which is not true.

Always have a 1/2 litter of Paulaner or Franziskaner...unless they don't have it on tap...
So beware, if you eat outside during happy hour they charge you full price. Oh and don't expect the waitress to tell you this...even after the bill is dropped off.
Half-priced MENU with a $3 drink purchase - food isn't great but it's CHEAP. Crab and artichoke and spinach dip is suuuuper good.
...have a dark and stormy. Plus, the lobster rolls (specials: 9/11) are the best in harvard square.
As the mayor I advise you to tip well. You will be rewarded.

Avoid the nachos. The topping to chip ratio is way out of whack and the guac isn't great.
