- Sean StaleyAbril 9, 2015The pet relief area is a nice grassy spot! You do have to venture outside the baggage claim and hang a left to the grassy knoll.
- My home away from home. Curb side check in is quickest and easiest if being dropped off. On the inside grab the c gates from the upper level for shorter lines.
- Curbside check in is managed by an outside company. If your bags get lost, it's on you (airline can't/won't help). Tip well to ensure your bags make it home. Amazing how many people don't tip!
- Hands down best airport in the US. Easy to get through and parking is a breeze. Park in short term at baggage claim level for easy coming and going when picking family and friends.
- Relatively clean and easy to get around. Quite a bit of shopping and food options. Only downside is the cost for taxis to/from the Strip
- If you need a drink, stop by the liquor store by baggage claim. They often have free samples. But something small, tip well, THEN ask about the sample.
- Get your shoes shined up beautifully by Gisela at the hallway stand between gates C7 and C14. She does great work and really takes care of your shoes!
- All of the restaurants are great, especially the bagel joint. Stop by crystals too the souvenirs are priceless
- Prime rib sandwich at the ChopHouse is fantastic, well beyond normal airport food. Careful though, a club soda from the bar is four bucks!
- Men's Health MagAgosto 3, 2014McCarran boasts $5 million worth of public artwork, including four replicas of the iconic “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign to help set the tone. Leer más
- If your flight is delayed get a manicure, pedicure or massage at the Express Spa near gate E3, terminal 3. Great service!!
- Main commercial airport for the las Vegas Valley and Clark County. Five miles south of downtown Las Vegas. Four runways and two terminals, Beautiful and very organized airport.
- Really cool airport with a lot machines and such. Some good small eateries as well. I like this place
- The airport is spacious and the gates have ample seating. Good options for good and they have an Amex Centurion Lounge.
- Amy SawyerJunio 15, 2013Get here at least 2 hours before your flight. Vegas is a very busy airport and there are lines. They do their best to get you through quickly, but give yourself time.
- Amazing people watching and it's only 10 minutes from the strip.
- There are outlets in the floor every so often if you need to power up. The Starbucks by CPK has dirty tables, but a great view to the Allegiant Air gates (spot the Blue Man Group plane!)
- If you are in the B terminal... and are early for your flight... try the chipotle Fish tacos lettuce wraps you will not be let down
- Brandon JonesMarzo 24, 2013If you have a long layover, go to the new American express centurion lounge. It's amazing. Food and premium booze included on admission. Worth the fifty bucks.
- Carmel McGillDiciembre 7, 2013If you are choosing an airport lounge opt for club at LAS lounge opposite gate E2 free hot lunch/drinks all complimentary / showers vs united lounge at gate D free vinegar wine & cheese biscuits
- If you dont want to pay for a cabo, just ask where the Uber lift area is. They are cheap and faster
- Free wifi with a decent connection. And for the frequent flyers and travel hackers, there are also a few different lounges here to experience. (Centurion, Lounge Club, etc.)
- All rental cars are located off property. Take the shuttle bus to the site and all of the different companies are located together. It's super convenient.
- Men's Health MagAgosto 3, 2014Here’s your last chance to win big. The airport’s new terminal 3 is complete with 1.9 million square feet—many of which are dedicated to slot machines Leer más
- Taking a cab is the best mode of transportation. I took the advice of someone in the airport not to take the freeway and it still cost me $30 to get to the Wynn plus I sat in traffic for over 20 min.
- Claudia MittJunio 26, 2016This Las Vegas airport is huge! NY are not bigger, London is like. Very organized here. All very far!
- David ChitanavaMayo 4, 2019It feels from the entrance that you are in Vegas. Slot machines are everywhere and attracting passengers with flashing lights.
- TengisOctubre 30, 2014McCarran offers you that last chance to hit it big with a life changing win! How? By placing slot machines quite conveniently throughout departure hall.
- Try the Sammy Hagar Beach Bar Restaurant by the C gates. The lime chicken strips are great and the dipping sauces make them even better!
- April BowenDiciembre 2, 2014Like that the announcements are very clear & easy to understand. Don't like that outlets are hard to find other than at the recharging stations.
- Cabs in August were averaging $25 southern end of the strip, $35+ to the strip near Encore and $58-65 downtown hotels. These were averages and went higher if there was an event at T Mobile Arena.
- Taking a cab from here? Ask them to NOT take the freeway. Cheaper fare, same amount of time, every time.

- During the hot months, in the C terminal all the AC is focused around the tram station. Head there to cool off, the outer gates are HOT!
- Kenneth McKlinskiEnero 12, 2022Iced Blend Mocha from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is mighty refreshing after a long flight.
- Amy HoneyJulio 31, 2018Terminal 1 is my favorite terminal! And California Pizza Kitchen is the best sit down restaurant!
- pamela thomassonJulio 2, 2013Sunday after checkout is busy. Sunday night and Monday we zipped through. Best TSA setup I have seen. Plenty of lines and screeners.
- Mychele BissonAgosto 16, 2017The united terminal is quiet and clean. The southwest terminal is like spring break in Puerto Rico. Crazy, chaos, no one is sure of where they are going. Don't know how to get around it though.
- Tom LiEnero 3, 2015Book a shuttle. It's fast and comfortable and you can book it on the spot. It's also far cheaper than a taxi if you're going to a hotel.
- If you're not checking bags, skip the ticket counter and use the universal kiosks to print boarding passes. They're located on the second level of T1 & T3 near the entrances to security. Never a line!
- K. WareAgosto 31, 2010Eat @ Villa Pizza. The #2 is a deep-dish piece of pizza, any side (baked ziti is delish), and a medium drink for less than $10. A double cheeseburger meal @ wendys costs more but is not near as tasty
- Dylan ReederAgosto 6, 2014Get here 2 hours early, you'll need both of them. Wifi is fast. Slots are fun. Airplanes live here.
- Check out barrio cafe! Great Mexican restaurants I tried the barrio tacos with fajita chicken and the bloody Mary's very good!
- Grab a beer at Burke in the Box in concourse D and have a side car for $4. Try talking down the bartender to have it for $2.
- Carla Kehdi CipulloFebrero 24, 2015Pense num lugar para se divertir e ver hotéis lindos??? Esse lugar com certeza é Las Vegas...simplesmente apaixonante!!!!
- Andrea BJunio 28, 2013If flying in/out at night, be sure to keep an eye out for the strip when you're in the air. The view is breathtaking. If only we were allowed to use cameras that close to the ground.
- Melinda OttAbril 1, 2013One of my least favorite airports. If you are unlucky enough to have a layover here with small children, know that changing tables are hard to find.
