Its flavors make it the most unique and by far the best ice cream shop in NYC. I'm an ice cream fanatic and have tried them all. Olive Garden is surprisingly tasty-I wish they would make it permanent.
Creative flavors, super high quality ice cream. Try 'tea dance'. One of my favorite ice cream places in the world. That said, I was devastated when 'Coffee and Champagne' disappeared from their menu.
all the flavors are amazing but the really nice and friendly staff top it off!!! (movie night: buttered popcorn, toasted raisin, dark chocolate flakes a surprising favorite!!)
One of my favorite ice cream places in the city, and I am definitely sad that it's closing its doors this weekend. Opium Den and 9AM are my favorites and will be ordering the pint size to take home.
Make your own donut ice cream cone! We got ours with Tea Dance (black tea leaf, lemon charcoal caramel) and 9AM (Vietnamese coffee, donut truffle) on top of a Konery chai cone.
one of the most wildly underrated and inventive ice cream shops in the city. pop-ups are good as an intro but come to their permanent location to enjoy their specials
Awesome innovative flavors created starting with infused cream and homemade ingredients. The dudes will encourage you to try all 11 (12th coming soon) flavors while giving you the story on each.
The new ice cream hotness worth the hike for crazy creative flavors. Three little pigs was delicious: salted caramel ice cream, bacon butter, bacon praline.
Legitimately some of the best ice cream I've had in my life (and I love ice cream with an artery-clogging passion). The Shade flavor is very rich but a must for chocolate lovers. The 9am is 💯
Don't let the extreme hipster put you off, this is some of the best ice cream anywhere. Try shade. Caramelized white chocolate ganache in dark chocolate ice cream.
Love and Hate was surprisingly delicious- root beer ice cream with ginger and molasses. I had it with a scoop of one of the #FruitWeek flavors - gold digger. Left wishing I had more!
unique and experimental ice cream- it's becoming a thing -and boy does Ice & Vice do it right. go for the Milk Money and 9AM flavors, and a flavored cone
Damn, this place makes some great ice cream. I usually get Shade, but I also enjoy (like isn't a strong enough adjective) Milk Money, Basic B & American Beauty — smile
Unique flavor combinations well executed. Their tax coffee and horchata flavors were outstanding. Infused bases and we'll balanced sweet to savory elements. Yum!
Unique flavors, all yummy..friend & I got farmer boy (taste like berry pie) & milk money (choc ganache). Lil pricey for small cups but in line with other 'artisanal' ice cream shops.
The most wacky and creative (but still delicious) ice cream flavors you've ever had. The Basic B is the best vanilla you'll ever eat. Cones are at another level as well.
If you are looking for non-standard ice cream flavours, this is the place. Tastes great and quality ingredients as well. Customer service is very friendly and helpful. Small space though.
adventurous flavor combos. intimidation factor is zero since they happily let you try anything you like. a few bar seats if you want to sit and enjoy the AC.
Our faces turn orgasmic every time we come here. We have tried almost every single flavor ever existed. Among the classics, definitely try the Opium Den on the chocolate chai cone.
One of the best ice cream places in the city. Love the Opium Den (must have if you like sesame). This and Morgenstern's are the best two places in the city.
They have a variety of unique flavors, including seasonal ones that are regularly updated. Try up to 2 flavors at a time, but my favorite is Milk Money.
Check out the ceiling, it's preserved from the original tenement building. (ice cream is good here too! I recommend 3 little pigs with chunks of Bacon)
Find some of the weirdest flavors, with ingredients like Ramen, IPA, different cheeses, and more! Of course, they also have some nice twists on classics for the less adventurous souls. :)
service is incredible | they will walk u through the yummy recipes | they offer tastes of everything + yes you will live for every lick. perfect post-Mission Chinese
This place is honestly just making everything for Instagram hype- crazy donut ice cream sandwiches and bright-colored cones etc. The ice cream flavors all sounds interesting but fail to deliver.
More interesting flavors than Morgansterns, some of which might be better...Love and Hate (root beer, ginger molasses soil) is fantastic as is Shiso Pretty (strawberry, Shiso white balsamic jam
If none of the funky flavors strike your fancy, go for the Basic B and don't feel like you let yourself down because even though it's vanilla, it's got lava salt in it and it's killer.
Worth the trek! Shade is the perfect chocolate scoop. Milk & money is good - but a tad too sweet. I believe these flavored to be better than the unconventional flavors at OddFellows
With all of the exciting flavors to choose from, don't overlook the "Basic B" (Mexican Vanilla, Black Lava Sea Salt). It goes well with the chai/dark chocolate cone.
You can use any of their homemade experimental flavors in your sammie, but if I were you I’d go with their signature “Detention Ice Cream Sandwich”. Leer más
