Tim MEnero 2, 2014Bring your own pen to fill out your departure card. There apparently is none available in the terminal- Best coffee is downstairs outside arrivals, retro espresso. Foodcourt cafes are major hit and miss!

Parking at the airport is expensive! But worth every penny spent to send a love one off.
Waiting area is an added convenience... Just sucks when it’s rush hour... Commuters and passengers are everywhere... it’s insane

Just arrived in Auckland !! Make sure you visit friendly team at the iSite information centre. Just on the left when you leave customs.
Long white cafe makes a great coffee to sip while you wait at the refurbished arrivals hall.
The KFC at the upstairs food court doesn't take any vouchers/coupons and don't do most promotional items.
There are powerpoints on the white pillars in the foodcourt before security

Use the SmartGate if you hold NZ passport. Available on departure and arriving.

Try the Nutra blast smoothie from the Tank bar upstairs, it's full of banana oaty goodness.
Head toward the EK gates for some nice planespotting oppurtunities
