Javier Rodriguez: The Bomba -mashed potato with chorizo- is da bomb (pun intended). Most tapas are good, but the Lacon and Jamón are great; wash them down with some wine or beer. English spoken.

Javier Rodriguez: I'm not really into octopus, but I tasted it upon my wife's insistence. Unbelievable! Rich, tender and perfectly cooked. As for the rest of the menu, it's all tasty, authentic Galician food.

Tienda de donuts · El Barri Gòtic · 8 tips y reseñas
Javier Rodriguez: Right under Plaça de la Universitat, past the Metro turnstiles. Great for a quick sugar fix or to grab coffee to go on the morning commute. Breakfast packs are a good value. Grilled cheese and latte!

Javier Rodriguez: A Sandwich self-service restaurant with a Catalan twist. It can get quite busy, but service is always fast and courteous. I found the Ibérico disappointing; I like the Cevapcice w/ cheese and onions.
Javier Rodriguez: The Home specialty is the Leche Merengada ice cream, but an Horchata&Coffee slush is a delicious, surefire way to keep the heat at bay on a hot summer day.

Javier Rodriguez: It can get very crowded and the sound of a hundred children screaming in delight can be tough on your nerves, but the kids always have a blast and keep asking for more.

Javier Rodriguez: It's not right to call this a Burguer Joint: it's a Grill w/great service. They just happen to serve their best, tenderest steak between two slices of bread with delicious toppings. Try the Puig!

Javier Rodriguez: Good, inexpensive food served with a big smile. Order the Mixed Durum Kebab with pineapple and Yaprak Sarma with yoghurt sauce. *Yummy!*

Javier Rodriguez: A hidden gem. Not your run-of-the-mill "Chinese" place. The food here is authentic, abundant and delicious. And incredibly inexpensive, too!
