A C: The menu is: steak, lobster, or steak+lobster. Nice atmosphere to go to and the prices aren't absurd.

A C: The Museum of Bags & Purses. You have to go -- just to tell your friends there's such a place and that you've been there!

A C: Great place to grab a drink during the afternoon. During the evenings, it's quite lively with different bars and restaurants on the side streets.

A C: During the weekends, "the pipes" marketplace is probably the largest in Amsterdam. Lots of trinkets to look at and food to buy (not comparable to the nite markets in TW, tho)

A C: A floating Chinese restaurant -- very similar to the one in HK (and a bit strange to see in Amsterdam)

A C: A place to go for loud music.

A C: The atmosphere in the evenings is much livelier than the day time.

A C: It's really small & since you're accustomed to the foods in Asia, you're not going to be overwhelmingly impressed.

A C: If you love architecture and interior design, you'll want to go here. In terms of a "Starbucks" store, the interior is spectacular.

A C: The home of Anne Frank. If you can go during the week day, you can avoid the large lineups.

A C: The Dolphin coffee shop -- y'know... for coffee and stuff. (btw, their "White Dolphin" is probably the strongest stuff they've got!)
