- Best little bar in navy yard. The Rutledge is my go to meal in a pinch, great bottled beer but their pizzas are okay. Bartenders are attentive and provide good conversation
- Amanda JayneEnero 5, 2014The Bloody Mary is delicious. The sweet potato fries are delicious. But together, they're a taste disaster. Pick regular fries w/ the mary or a vodka cran w/ the s. p. fries, but do not combine them.
- The Radcliffe with pasta salad is my go to. Could eat this every day. Start off with an order of the house guac and chips and you'll keep coming back for more!
- Yetta BungieMayo 15, 2014Worth checking out especially if you're near the area. It's small, yet intinmate! Perfect for lunch or directly after work cocktails w/o the city's propaganda (hoopla)!
- ᴡ BarfieldOctubre 2, 2013Um, HELLO? If you have 3-4 blocks to walk home and you're concerned about MAKING it....they're so damned helpful they'll feed you a pita after closing time to make sure there's something in your BELLY
- Wilfredo CasillasOctubre 2, 2014A small gem that serves amazing pizzas. Love the Gadsen! Staff is friendly and inviting. Everytime im in town on business, I have to pop in.
- Rebecca SJunio 10, 2013The pizza and sandwich options are fantastic. Good spot for pre/post game food/drink, but space is limited.. Best when the weather is nice and the outside patio space can be used.
- Greg DiamondAgosto 29, 2017I'm a sucker for the grilled cheese and cup of soup, especially on rainy days. Their sandwiches generally are on point.
- K MacNoviembre 10, 2013Delicious, inexpensive brunch, but we must have come on an understaffed day because it took an hour to get eggs w/side of bacon and fresh fruit! Staff was apologetic, but wouldn't come here for food.
- J RussellAgosto 15, 2016Service great had prosciutto, fig sandwich. Outstanding. Wife had BBQ pork on Onion bun. Loved it
- Nathan NyeJulio 6, 2013This place has the absolute best bartenders in the world. They have the best advice, just tell them your problems! It's like free full-service therapy.
- JohannaAgosto 16, 2015The food isn't going to knock your socks off, but it's good for the cost! Generous portions, especially the salads.
- Rutledge on a wrap with sautéed onions and sweet potato fries...so good every time
- Joe is amazing! Food is great and the beer cold! Love the atmosphere and right around the corner from the apartment
- Get the Rutledge. You won't go wrong. Definitely the best sandwich in Southeast D.C.
- Get the table by the front window for some of the best people watching in the city
- Try the went worth pizza with chicken and tomato basil soup :)
- They just added outdoor seating, so grab a table on the sidewalk and enjoy the people-watching on the way to Nats games.
- The Dry Old Bay Wings and Sweet Potato Fries are awesome!
- You can't go wrong with the pizzas, bison Burger, and the Rutledge(grilled chkn on ciabatta)
- Try the pizza and sweet potato fries. Also the staff is the great.
- Lorie MartinFebrero 22, 2012My Vermont coworkers love this place! The salads are great and very generous.
- Best bloody Marys ever! And the prices are right for brunch.
- Progressive happy hour. Drafts $3 from 4-6pm. Cannot be beat!
- Try one of their quality craft beers. If it's the spring/summer, look to see if they have Bell's Oberon.
- John StephensJunio 8, 2014Use cash. Pizza not worth it. Wings are ok. Beer is good. Good for a nats game.
- Kevin CyrusDiciembre 28, 2010Get the Bison burger. NOT on the menu but listed on chalkboard. Yummmm!
- Allie and I suggest the butternut squash soup! Phenomenal!
- Delicious pizzas, great selection of beer, awesome waitresses.
- Jon DarveauAgosto 9, 2011It's ok for Nats games, certainly better than the characterless places on Half St. Not much seating though but have some interesting beers
- Bill DeBeerAgosto 2, 2010If you're here for happy hour, you cannot beat the Red Rye drafts for 3, 4, or 5 dollars. Such a win.
- Great little place, but wow does it get packed pre-game! Good for them...
- Potato Soup. Do it.Also, I've never tasted better ranch dressing ... How do they do it?
