Must if you are in town. Very nice place and view on Lubljan. The place is really well renewed! Also go see video about castle history it suprisingly fun!

Pay ONLY 2,20€ for the elevator on the way up and just wander inside the citadel walls. Then just walk down one of the trails around the castle. Nice citadel though with nice cafés!

2 reach it, several small paths lead up frm old town, v took the path via the Studentovska pot. Ahem, a certain fitness level is required..pant..pant, or take the funicular next to the Puppet Theatre.

Beste Aussicht auf die Stadt und auch Einstieg in eine große Tropfsteinhöhle. Sehr gut restauriert und absolut sehenswert.

İnanılmaz bir Slovenya manzarasını görebileceğiniz müthiş yüksek bir yer. Özellikle gözlem kulesine çıkın. Finiküler ile çıkılıyor. 10 euro ile heryerini gezebilirsiniz. Puppet müzesini görün.

В этом замке мне очень понравилась доступность всего к просмотру, исторический музей, в котором есть комментарии на русском, и даже концерты, которые можно однажды посетить!)

Go up with the funicular and go down by foot along one of the paths available. It's a bit expensive to go inside, but you can walk around a little and have a nice view even if you don't pay

Great 360° view over the city. Small tour costs 3 eur for students which is great value for money since you get access to the tower, museum of slovenian history and virtual castle tour. Loved it! :)

Great views for free from the balcony and surrounding paths. Ana Ros and husband have a hand in Gostilna Na Gradu (#25 on the map), a restaurant in the castle courtyard.

Best city view from top of the tower, must buy ticket and climb! Also you will learn a lot about the history of Slovenia in the museum. I can hardly stop my tears while reading about the World War II.

It's the best castle I visited so far. Get the app audio guide instead of the traditional one. It'll turn the whole castle into one big scavenger hunt. It's thoroughly awesome.

Çok iyi.mutlaka çıkın. Şehir manzarası izlemek için ideal.giriş 2 kişi 15euro. Vaktimiz az olduğu için içeri girmememize rağmen çok beğendik.

I don't really like castles but this one impressed me. It's a perfectly renovated Castle that combines fancy modernity with ancient elements. Very elegant! Great view and nice restaurants.

St. George's Chapel is one of the oldest parts of Ljubljana Castle. It is decorated with 15th century frescoes and 1747 wall paintings of the coats of arms of provincial governors.

Highest point in the city with the best views. Tickets to the viewing point are 13€ and the funicular up to the castle is 2€.

Entrance fee of 7,50 euro for the tower is too much. Just spend 2,20 euro on the funicular for the way up, wander around and take one of the paths down to the center.

Честно ожидала больше увидеть! Красивый вид если подняться на башню! Внутри расположены исключительно кафешки. Обращаю внимание можно попасть 2-мя способами в замок пешком и на фуникулере.

You can take the funicular if you don't like trekking but you'll miss the fun :) the view is amazing at the top 😍

Not too big, not too impressive, and is actually a mix of old and new architecture. Good location for picnic, bring some snacks and enjoy.

Приятная обзорная площадка Можно пройтись по вершине холма и спуститься на другом краю города. Сам замок к сожалению превращен последней реставрацией в конгломерат ресторанов. Впрочем рестораны хороши

Sicuramente vale la pena salire per la vista su Lubljana, però non abbiamo trovato molto interessante il contenuto del castello. All'interno ci sono perlopiù ristoranti. Ci si può anche sposare...

there is lot to walk and too steep. you can try the tram sort of facility. 8euro for tram + castle tower and virtual tour.

замок красивый.есть кафешка.смотровая башня.или просто подняться на стену.красивые панорамы .в башне винтовая лестница.площадка сверху мелкая. добраться до замка можно пешком или на лифте.

Чего-чего, а замков в Словении тьма, но этот - особенно прекрасный. Непременно посетить музей истории и забраться на башню по винтовой лестнице. Обратно в город - фуникулер.

На первый взгляд - стандартный замок для городков центральной Европы. Но посмотреть его все равно стоит! Многолюдное, но тихое место.

Generally it's okay, but except of the viewing tower not that special. There are many ways closed and the nice parts of the castle are not accessible.
