Stuff is easy to find, airport is not big. Only downside is that it has been under reconstruction for a while and that makes it look very ugly.

Gracia AltaMayo 7, 2018Small. Get from the Check-in to gate within the one hour. Not enough seats but that's normal for a low carrier airport. Arrivals is also very fast and clear signs to the PT.
When booking a train ticket to/from the airport, choose "Luton Airport" - not Luton Airport Parkway. The latter doesn't include fee for shuttle bus service.

Airside Starbucks has the most plug sockets, benugo also have a few at their bench seating
It's now £4 to go through Priority Security. Worth the money on a Monday morning or Friday night.

Edmund DudleyAgosto 6, 2016Security check is much smoother and better organised than it used to be. Trays so big you could bathe a dog in them!- I was surprised when I wasn't able to find any pay as you sim cards inside the airport except for Lebara and the expensive ones from the machine.

The airport becomes a fish market during peak hours (early morning and late night).
Wizzair arrivals actually come in, when on time, as much as half an hour early - always check with FlighTracker before collecting someone.

Looking for plug without a padlock over it. Breakfast bar seating in 'the real food company'. Coffee not great but access to power socket is invaluable.

Ian SMarzo 15, 2014Rather than extortionate prices for overnight accomodation, why not try airbnb.com. Search for Luton airport and there's a stack of low cost good quality places to stay, many offer airport transfers
I love the way they encourage you to pay £4 for priority security by keeping the standard queue so long.- It's like a building site at the moment. If parking it takes some time to navigate around the construction.

£3 for priority lane access at security is money well spent. Much more worth it than 'speedy boarding'!
Get fast track security as you go in - £3 will save you a 20 minute wait in the queue.

If your flight's delayed, make sure you hit WHSmith before everything shuts. Which is round about the time they issue you with a £3 voucher! Nice one pishyjet!

Go for Fast security check. Its 3£ but you wont regret! Otherwise this airport is a joke!
If you need electric plugs, there are some on the arrival hall on the pillars near the benches, close to the exit
Look out for Taxi touts at the pick up point they will over charge you always pre book or use a local Luton cab company
The £3 fee to drop off and pick up passengers is simply an extortion!
I fell asleep in the car on the way here. When I woke up, I thought we'd been in a horrific car crash and I was in hell. Checked the signs, nope Luton Airport. If you can - go somewhere else.
