If you are ever around Knightsbrigde or High Street Kensington or eve Hyde Park Corner, then you can walk to Harrods in about 5 minutes. Its a weird and wonderful place just to browse!
If you get a chance to go to a Garden Party then Buckingham Palace gardens is great! The walks around, hidden surprises and rolling grass really are fantastic!
Greenwich Park is a great place to relax, but also to enjoy the Royal Observatory and the ancient naval memorabilia. Lots of nice bars and restaurants in Greenwich too!
Cafe's, shopping, bars, street theatre - Covent Garden has it all. If you want a picnic on the cheap there's even a Tesco's! ;-D
