Fancy place, more affordable than you'd think. Tartare, in any shape or form, is the way forward. Then have a digestive G&T on the rooftop looking at the royal palace and Almudena cathedral.
Classic bar for cañas y tapas. They even make pancakes, however we were only brave enough to taste the lomo con tomate, which was quite homemade and good.
Mango and avocado salad - what a wonderful idea! So delicious. The terraza is set in a wonderful location, a quiet plaza, away from the crowds for a chilled experience.
Fanciest restaurant in town. The menu is creative and really extensive and, despite being pricier than average, the quality is great and the portions quite big. Las croquetas de boletus buenísimas!!
Great accommodation in Hayling Island. Super attentive service, indoor pool, jacuzzi and a somewhat kitsch decor will make you love it!
You won't get a veggie roast here, but if you are carnivorous you will be blessed with such tender beef that will melt in your mouth. Book a table.

An old man's pub. The real thing. They have an awesome beer garden to chit chat with your favourite people away from the crowds.
Cosy old pub with a huge beer garden. They do veggie Sunday Roast and the desert menu is surprisingly sophisticated. Make sure you tip them, the service is not included and the stuff is super lovely.
They do rose lemonade! The patrons and the service are really friendly and the beer garden is MASSIVE.

Über cool warehouse conversion. Have a drink outside, eat at the bistro or enjoy top quality food at the restaurant. The halibut was delish and the portions will send you home full and delighted.
The elderflower sangría looks beautiful, but leaves a lot to be desired. However the Sunday roast, especially the nut one, is absolutely delicious. Oh, and great beer garden.
