This is the best curated contemporaryart museum I've ever seen. Only 2-3 exhibits at a time, but they're all beautifully cohesive and interactive and follow a theme. My favorite place in Cleveland.
MOCA connects its visitors to the dynamic art and ideas of our time through exhibitions of emerging international artists and notable artists from the region and dynamic events and experiences.
Featuring unique, original and compelling exhibits it’s a must see for those with an interest in art. Visit the museum for a low cost of only $4 or FREE on Fridays. This is a true gem in Cleveland! Leer más
Disappointing... I love contemporaryart. Not enough here on display to make it worthwhile though. I can count the number on display with just my fingers and toes.
This Museum was founded in 1968 & was known as the “New Gallery” until 1984 when it was renamed the MOCA. This museum focuses on artists from the Greater Cleveland area & northeast Ohio.
The Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland is recognized nationally and internationally for its vital and creative exhibitions and public programs. As it prepares to move in October 2012, MOCA looks forward to welcoming both established and new audiences to its exciting new space in University Circle.
