adrian cutlerDiciembre 18, 2010To get free wifi you can use the continental presidents club. It seems to be above McDonalds in terminal C. You can sit at gate 75 and still have strong connection.
Speed through security easier. Put phones, watches and change in carry on bag to be scanned. Reduce bin need to laptop and toiletries. Shoes directly on belt first. Fave parking is P4

For arrivals, try to get a seat on the left side of the plane for views of Manhattan
Easiest Airport to get from NYC if you live downtown on the West Side... Easy $12 train from Penn Station that takes 20min

TSA Pre? Go to terminal C only. If you need another terminal, take the shuttle after going through expedited security. Peace!

Arrive a bit earlier on Mondays or equivalents for TSAPee Check at terminal C. Just not enough space or people.
Plan ahead and show up early. Security is extra slow at Southwest Terminal A. Every single time.
We flew from here for vacation. No issues. All good vibes
Use Newark Airport Express. Uber is expensive here, especially getting from NY to the airport.
There are more coin operated phone booths than outlets for cell phone charging. #modern

𝙈𝙖.Octubre 11, 2014Private limousine, car service, and taxis also provide service to/from the airport. Taxis serving the airport charge a flat rate based on destination.
The best thing about being here is that it means you are leaving here. Unless you just got here. In which place, you're hosed.
The most helpful ppl at the airport are the employees working in the Air Train waiting areas. Not only are they there to help passengers, they actually ask if anyone needs help. Very odd at EWR.
Taxi line makes you prepay if you want to use credit card, and adds a $5.50 fee. That is some bullshit... and seems illegal?
Vrti EliasDiciembre 30, 2015Not that hard to get there from Port Authority, bus is nice and cozy, better to leave a 1hr reserve in case of a traffic jam in the tunnel
Give yourself a little extra time to get through security.- C1 elite line is usually shorter than the C3 elite line during busy times. You can get to all C gates from any security checkpoint.
The $16 Newark Express a wonderful, comfy coach bus but it does NOT come every 15 minutes. Bundle up.
If u don't want to miss your flight get here 2 hours before for domestic flights and 4 for international.. Security lines are ridiculous busy anytime of the day:/
Don't take the first security line in term a. Keep walking past it after you've passed the initial checkpoint. Much shorter lines there.
Edyna TMarzo 14, 2012Ride the AirTrain between terminals. You get a great view of the planes, Port Newark, and NYC.
Use automatic tickets machines whenever possible bc check-in lines here get LOONNNGGG. Also, the SAS Biz Class lounge looks like an IKEA cafeteria and opens at 4pm daily.
Do yourself and your travel companion a favor and take a car service. You deserve it and its worth the extra cash.
Don't let the Terminal A security checkpoint fool you, stay for the first x-ray machine!
