A trip to Paris is never complete with ascending this iconic structure. Try to go at dusk for a spectacular and romantic view of the City of Lights.
The Arc de Triomphe costs just 9 euros to ascend and the view down Champs Élysées is well worth the money. Be prepared as you have to walk to the top but can ride an elevator down.
Le Louvre is massive, holding 380,000 objects to see. Stop by Café Mollien on the first floor to refuel, it’s cheaper than the other cafés and will have you ready to see more artwork.
Put on your walking shoes and march down one of the most famous avenues in the world. This tree lined avenue makes for a beautiful site, come at night when everything is lit up for a romantic walk.
The famous Catacombs is one of Paris’ most mysterious attractions. Get there at least 30 minutes before the 10AM opening as the lines are known to get long.
One of the best views in Paris is from the steps in front of Sacre-Coeur. Montmartre can be very busy at times. We recommend going during the weekdays for a less hectic experience.
On the Île de la Cité lies the famous Notre-Dame Cathedral. Don’t forget to climb to the top of the tower to get up close with the famous gargoyles!
Beautiful architecture and paintings make this a great visit for photographers. Take a guided tour to the top for a great panoramic view!
Many famous figures lie in this cemetery, from Jim Morrison, to Chopin, to Oscar Wilde. Try to go on a sunny day and up to the hill to the summit for a beautiful view of Père Lachaise and the city.
This beautiful garden should not be missed. Come here for a bit of relaxation and some sightseeing as well. The original Statue of Liberty is here, as well as a number of wonderful fountains.
The bridge that crosses the Seine River is an excellent place to view the Eiffel Tower. Next to the bridge on the Ile aux Cygnes you will find its little sister: a replica of the Statue of Liberty.
Take a stroll through this beautiful park and muster up a little extra effort to walk to the Temple of Sybil on the top of the hill: the view from there will be worth it.

Be sure to go on a sunny day to see the effect on the stained glass windows. Each window tells a Biblical story so start at the western alcove of the north wall and work your way clockwise.
The view from Montmartre is so spectacular that you would almost forget about the church itself! Make sure not to miss the beautiful interior: admission is free.
The birthplace of the can-can dance can be quite expensive. So if you really only want to see the famous red windmill don’t buy tickets for a show: you can see it just as well from the street.
This beautiful Gothic church is usually less crowded than the Notre Dame or Saint-Chapelle. If the weather is good bring some food so you can have a lovely picnic in the park next to the church
One of the best ways to explore the Seine River is by taking a boat tour. You will see many famous landmarks from a completely different viewpoint!
