Immigration lines are punishingly long at DPS for no good reason, like so many tourist spots. You’re better off relaxing + using free WiFi to catch up on email / social media until the lines go down.

Stop at the right area for departure. Easy to get lost. Also, prep your travel itinerary before going in. Collection of boarding pass is inside the departure area.

Pro: fast immigration, almost no queue. Con: when departing, the obligated your through the tax free shops. Global: the renovation is a step forward. Please add aircon on the slurf to the plane..

Recommended to book your taxi early at a hotel for a certain time, not when you are about to leave for the airport as it takes awhile for the taxi to get to the hotel these days.

Sân bay lớn hơn sân bay Yogjakarta 1 chút,nhìn chung là sạch sẽ,cổng vào có kiến trúc rất đặc biệt,thái độ nhân viên hải quan nhập cảnh thân thiện,từ sân bay về Kuta chừng 40 phút đi ô tô

If u request uber or grab go level up to departures area coz local taxi drivers don't let uber and grab picking up customers in arrivals. it is annoying but it is Bali. Just take it easy

On arrival - do yourself a favor and buy the Bali Immigration Fast Track service. You could end up waiting over one hour just to get through immigration. Other than that, departures is a nice exp.

Tidak akan pernah bosen deh disini. Smoking area di lantai 3 punya coffeshopnya sendiri. Design dan konsep bandaranya buat berasa seperti ada di dalam mall drpd bandara pada umumnya.

Go upstairs to the departure drop off area to get a metered Blue Bird taxi . Fare to Legian without traffic was about 70k IDR, much cheaper than what they'll quote you at arrivals hall.

Good to print out your air ticket, the security will need to check your departure flight before allowing you into the airline check in halls

November 2014.. Bandara Ngurah Rai sudah jauh lebih bagus dan modern.. Sudah banyak outlet makanan di area keberangkatan.. Fasilitas lebih banyak sehingga yang menunggu jd lebih nyaman..

When you go in feels like you're not in Bali anymore. Most of the restaurants don't open till 6am. Oh and free wifi!

Хороший аэропорт, за то чтоб довести багаж на тележке просят 5$, при вылете надо платить 200k/чел только в рупиях! Дютик и кафе супер!

Аэропорт стал лучше, но бестолковость есть. 1 очередь на визу, другая погран. Еще нужно заполнить на компе самому декларацию, распечатать куар код и только после этого тебя выпустят на волю😅

Food options after check in is minimal. Hot dogs & sandwiches. Don't see any full service cafe or restaurants :(. A hot dog (70k to), mineral water (10k).Credit card only usable w minimal spend 100k.

Get a cab in taxi drop off area, it's a bit far but you can get BlueBird there, it's using argoMeter system,so you won't be cheated

The fix rates of the airport taxi has increased. This year on the price list it says IDR70kto Legian but as usual they add anthr IDR30kon top of that. So my taxi fare to Legian ended up being IDR100k

No exit tax needed for European passports. Good idea to have your boarding pass or confirmation email available before entering as they check at the door (before check in counter)

International airport with local culture. For muslims, there is a mosque at the 2nd floor (you'd need to check-in) and outside of the airport.

SIM card 200k at arrivals- 5.5 gb internet. If there's more than one of you travelling have one wait in line for paying for the visas(with passports) while the other waits in the immigration que.

If you need a taxi after arrival go directly to departures (top floor) and use one of Blue Bird Group meter taxis dropping off passengers as they are not allowed to pick up anyone from arrival.

There are 3 security checks before you board your flight. You CANNOT take any bottled water, drinks, etc. onboard even if you purchased them at the airport (after the 2nd check). Save your $$$!

When visiting bali, make sure you only use "blue bird taxi" . Never use "bali taxi". The first one is a reputable and well-known taxi whilst the second one is scammed taxi.

i used domestic flight, it is not so bad....less people and no long queue... The smoking area is on the top, nearby gate 5-6. it is so hot...need cooler....
