A neighborhood for shopping. There are a lot of great street vendors selling clothes and crafts (mostly along West Broadway). Uniqlo and TopShop on Broadway are worth checking out.
Take the F train here, then walk around the waterfront park and check out the little shops and restaurants.
Start at 5th & 59th and walk downtown. It's a nice walk with great window shopping - most design houses have their flagship stores around here. If it's autumn, grab chestnuts from a street vendor.
