Discover KalamazooDiciembre 5, 2013Olde Peninsula is the oldest microbrew pub in Kalamazoo! It's known for its craft-brewed beers: the powerful OP IPA, Sunset Red, Midnight Stout and seasonal brews offered five times each year.
Dark Day IPA is stronger than the regular IPA. Good, but on the verge of too much grapefruit flavor for me.If they had the Double IPA all year long I would make OP my all-time #1 restaurant.

Try Olde P's homemade root beer with a shot (or two) of vanilla vodka! An adult version of a root beer float :) Drink as a shot or mixed drink.
Brewpub dip and their fine selection of beers. This place is one of the good ones.
- Definitely try the "Red Raz," take a seat at the bar, and order nachos. And say hi to Liz, who's a fab bartender!
Dann SytsmaFebrero 3, 2010My favorite place to go after shows. Get the midnight stout, if you like 'em dark. Raspberry wheat if you like it a little fruity. Steak on a stick is a cheap way to get something meaty.

Black raz or just midnight stout. Steves favorite burger, brew pub dip, london broil salad...or the best...black pepper sirloin!!
Brewpub Dip and Fajita Thai Roups are delicious.
KariAgosto 14, 2010You can get 5 gal kegs of their microbrews for about $30. They don't charge a deposit but hold on to a credit card number incase you don't return it. Call ahead to order your fav. brew.
I agree, the Sunset Red Burrito is THE BEST! They also have Rain vodka at the bar which is really yummy :)
HANDS DOWN the best meal at OP is the Sunset Red Burrito. Get guacamole on the side. It's big enough for 2 meals.

Laurie MMayo 26, 2013ATTN Parents: this place served my 14 & 16 yo nieces alcoholic margaritas by accident. Luckily they were old enough to know something wasn't right. A young child may not have known the difference.

Get a beer flight, they have several microbrews and it's the best way to try all of them.
A bunch of open tables, yet we are told it'll be 15 mins before we can sit. This is a load of crap!!!

Bow JanglesNoviembre 9, 2010Bathroom here is disgusting and unkept during dinner hours! I got food poisoning here and had to go #2 really bad only to walk in and have piss all over the place and no toilet paper to be found.
