- Melissa RosenthalSeptiembre 23, 2014One of the most memorable meals I've had in a while. Every course is a work of art! Be sure to try the black garlic bucatini if it's available. Share it with a friend and save room for dessert!
- Nick AndlingerFebrero 10, 2016Make sure to order the Côte de boeuf. Highlight of the already fantastic meal. Also liked the black bucatini with Dungeness crab.
- The Corcoran GroupOctubre 9, 2013In a neighborhood packed with amazing restaurants, this new spot really stands out. Aside from some delicious cocktails, the food is outstanding, especially the monkey bread, bucatini, and the duck.
- TomNoviembre 1, 2015Came here for the chef's tasting and it's instantly one of my favorites. The deconstruction and with play with ingredients is interesting and delicious. Must try!
- EaterNoviembre 7, 2013The eclectic menu includes things like scallops with chanterelles, duck confit, barbecued octopus, English pea angolotti with truffles, and suckling pig with radish and apples.
- Sammy GoldfienNoviembre 14, 2013Monkey bread is a winner. Also the Rohan duck was some of the best I've ever had: cooked on the rarer side, meaty and flavorful, with lovely crispy skin. If you like duck it is one you should try.
- EpicuriousAgosto 3, 2014Start with an order of the monkey bread that's served with both whipped rosemary lardo and seaweed butter. Then order at least one of Cipollone's superlative pastas. Leer más
- Tasting TableNoviembre 6, 2014Grab after dinner drinks at Piora. Try the infused digestifs, like Calvados laced with Honey Crisp apples ($12), or order off-the-menu cognac infused with raisins ($18). Leer más
- Henry BodmerSeptiembre 17, 2013Great spot!!! From the drink at the bar to the desert all works... The Asian influence gives the food an interesting twist. The octopus and the duck are highlights next to the cote de boeuf!
- Serious EatsOctubre 29, 2013Elegant West Village restaurant where the creative salads and starters truly shine. We enjoy the front bar area for a less formal atmosphere.
- Favorite restaurant in the city. Perfect service. Ask handsome Kyle to pick out a wine. Market salad, any pasta. Entrees change regularly, you can't go wrong.
- Second course of the tasting menu, amberjack crudo with rangpur lime and radish sitting on top of avocado slice. Looks good and tastes even better.
- Def check out the winter citrus menu! The beet agnolotti with citrus poppy seed sauce top with beet crumbs is outstanding!
- CITY GRITAgosto 5, 2014We live for Chef Chris Cipollone’s food. If you can’t eat the entire menu (shame on you!), then make sure you get the Monkey Bread, Carrots, Octopus, Tortellini, and the Duck.
- AnissaMayo 22, 2015Monkey bread is ridiculously addicting, pastas are on point, and I had the best pork chop of my life here!
- emily chenMayo 14, 2014must get the P&T for smokey whiskey lovers. Pair with the monkey bread, market veggie apps. Get two of the desserts because they are tiny. #imfat #sogood
- Laura MMayo 27, 2015Piora was wonderful! Everything from the cocktails to the amuse-bouche to the dessert was delicious and beautifully presented. Will return!
- Lori LuoAgosto 10, 2014Restaurateur Simon Kim and Chef Chris Cipollone have a winner with Piora. Find Italian and Korean-inspired dishes, such as the Scallops with Sweet Corn and Rigatoni with Duck.
- Gareth TootellJulio 24, 2013The cocktails here are awesome. For food, the monkey bread with seaweed butter & lardo was addictive, & the pork belly with perfectly crisp skin was pretty sensational.
- The New YorkerDiciembre 13, 2013“Technique serves deliciousness, rather than distracting from it, in the suckling-pig entrée, which is presented like a meat bonbon.” Leer más
- Andres ZirlingerJulio 8, 2017Very good food and drinks! Overall it was excellent but the desserts were a bit lacking. Nice place. Service was good but could be slightly better for a 1 Michelin star restaurant
- jake furstFebrero 6, 2015lovely restaurant with good food and great service, but definitely do not be tempted by the cote de boeuf. it's under seasoned and crazy expensive.
- ZenFoodsterDiciembre 21, 2017So sad this has closed..Piora had the most creative & refined dishes..was IMO 1 of the best Michelin's I’ve been to in 2017
- LindsNoviembre 22, 2013After having about half the menu (including all of the pastas), my biggest take away is that the carrots are a must-order -- even the guy that hated carrots at our table liked them!
- Melissa RosenthalMarzo 23, 2015Second time at Piora and it's still one of my favorites in the city. That star was well earned!
- Mark GAgosto 9, 2013Have a drink at the bar first with the exceptional bartenders and elixirs worth it just to watch him chop the ice
- naveenOctubre 10, 2014the bar, so you can watch. the egg with chicken. the rigatoni. the rohan duck.
- Spectacular food. Intimate and amazing atmosphere. Fabulous cocktails.
- Jeremy BurnsMarzo 14, 2015Been here several times, amazing food and service. They absolutely earned that Michelin star.
- Erica ChoiDiciembre 15, 2013Musts - Monkey Bread, Scallops, Bucatini, Homemade Ice Cream, Leaves Falling Cocktail
- Jenn ParkOctubre 13, 2013❤️s for the scallop and tortellini! (Even more spectacular with white truffles)
- Iris XuMayo 9, 2014Excellent food but portions are small for the price. The market vegetables are a surprise hit.
- Premshree PillaiNoviembre 19, 2014The food can be quite good, service is excellent, but the loud dining room is offputting.
