One of the gorgeous beaches that Mexico have. If you visit on March or August you will find all the town alone for you to enjoy. Take the bus or rent a car and don't hesitate to visit Tulum.

Really quaint area especially at night! Lots of lovely restaurants and shopping - some good, some a bit tacky! You can barter with the jewelry stores! Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area!

Cute pueblo vibe. Dress casual, you're on the beach. Tons of bars, pubs and restaurants. Drinks are pretty much fresh wherever you go. Try SALT tequila w/ your Marg.

Excellent for shopping, eating and night entertainment, but if you are looking for a beautiful beach, stay in Tulum, rent a car, and go to Carmen's at night.

Fall in love with this amazing place..so many lovely shops, restaurants & beaches! BPM Festival is pretty wild so steer clear of that week if you're looking for quiet. Something for everyone in Playa.

É bem balada! Acho melhor se hospedar aqui do que em Cancun pq é mais perto das atrações locais (xcaret, tulum...). As Praias não são as excepcionais. Vale a pena pegar o Ferry e ir pra Cozumel

A melhor infra-estrutura litorânea que eu já vi, todas opções de restaurantes e lojas concentradas na mesma praia. Se for a Cancun para o "arrebento", fique na região hoteleira, senão fique aqui!

Awesome beach with white sand and transparent water in the sea. Walk a bit further up north if you prefer less crowded places

Once at Cancun Airport, you do not have to pay some US$65.00 for a Taxi drive to Playa del Carmen or Downtown Cancun, take the bus named ADO - ado.com.mx ;)

Wichtig! Angeblich laut mehreren Reiseführern Leben die meisten Mexikaner vom Tip/Trinkgeld sie verdienen im Durchschnitt 8.000USD! ungefähr 10-15% Tip sollte für einen Service schon drin sein... ;-)

Fishing is great. Stay away from Captain Ricks. Their boats are old and their crews don't care. Wasabi Loco had some pretty awesome boats and crews.

Be sure to barter really good, if they give you a price offer them half and work your way up, if your not satisfy leave and they will cave in and give you the best price, Happy Shopping

Beautiful place, many things to do in there, going to an hotel into Playacar is a good idea but there you can't move by walk

Playa del Carmen is PERFET. You can party, go shopping, relax the beach, eat and enjoy the view.

Stay on the weekend and visit the 12th Street at night and party until the sunrise.
