Wonderful small shop with great employees-stop in for a cappuccino or enjoy a latte at the bar. Pastries are tasty, too! Love their sign outside each day.
AristipposAbril 8, 2013Once you order a tea, the used bag with the tea are kept aside and when the first cup has been drunk, one is free to order a refill, for which the 'old' tea will be re-brewed.
This place is so good I forgot I already wrote a tip (just YESTERDAY)! La Esperanza with almond milk and a Ginger molasses cookie hit the spot post Blossom du Jour (the vegan spot next door).

During my stay in Chelsea, this was my favorite coffee shop. They sell decent coffee, not the typical American coffee. Nice cozy little place with cool & friendly baristas.

Best small coffee shop in Chelsea. Great pulls and strong well crafted drinks. Tim is the manager. He's great and the staff are all super friendly and fun.
They have great iced coffee (haven't tried their espresso yet) but if coffee is not your thing, try any of their iced teas - mint green tea, ruby sipper or Jonathan Adler are all great!- They have almond milk! And delish coffee w/awesome staff. I had the La Esperanza de Guatemala. Have Erin do a tasting with you :)
