James Buchanan was the first president of the United States from Pennsylvania. This is where he resided and also died. What a wonderful piece of history in the heart of Lancaster County

The Lancaster Historical Society which funds Wheatland is fantastic. Construction has commenced for their new offices, library and archives, located adjacent to Wheatland.

Political video going on about how Buchanan “totally might have been gay” detracts from the history of the site.

Meridian Hill Park in Washington D.C. Has a beautiful memorial statue of James Buchanan - worth a visit!
