If you're driving a large truck or towing something, avoid the hotel parking lot and park on the street behind the hotel (St. Laurent), there is always plenty of room.
Take a short walk down Cascades Parkway. You will find a number of places to eat/drink such as Starbucks, Jamba Juice and Yocream.
Stay here rather than Aloft next door. Better hotel, and the rates are usually lower.
