Also known as Plaza de Armas it is the main square in Lima. With its Spanish architecture, houses the government palace, the city hall, the cathedral and the archiepiscopal palace.
Found here are the remains of the Colonial wall that was built to protect Lima from 1687 until 1870. This area is very popular with locals on the weekend.
One of the largest and most impressive squares, showing a great expression of French architecture. The Lima Jr (street) joins this square to the Plaza de Armas.
The park won a Guiness world record for having the largest number of fountains inside a public park and for also having the world's highest fountain. A must see.
