Four Barrel served up well. A solid stop in Silverlake when you don't want to deal with Intelligentsia campers, or cramped spaces at Alfred. A much more open, airier space.
The cold brew here is legit. Verve came from Santa Cruz and maintains that small roaster personality, but with the skill of a macro roaster. The decor is beach town chic. Great place
The Blueberry lavender, roasted strawberry and watermelon buttermilk were amazing. Definitely worth the little wait.
A Stumptown account, serving up well crafted drinks. Inviting atmosphere, limited selection of bakery. A nice spot in Highland Park
A busy little spot in Larchmont Village. Started by some barista champions, they serve coffee from multiple roasters. One of few places you can get 49th Parallel.
Best thing about them is that they serve Klatch. It's an oasis in the midst of bad coffee in Hollywood. Friendly staff, great breakfast, but the coffee doesn't take a backseat. Great place
