The setting is historic but the food is modern, delicious and beautifully presented. Cocktails are well crafted. Servers are professional, thoughtful and unobtrusive. My fave New Haven restaurant.

Love this restaurant with French and Italian influences! Located right next to the Shubert Theater! A must for before and after the show!

I'm sure the menu will change seasonally but the Hen Ragu, Octopus, Fluke, And lamb duo were absolutely amazing. I can't have a bad dish here. Avi the chef/owner is the real deal.

Roia's rating should be an 8+ at the least. Don't miss happy hour when you can get killer bowl of pasta for $10 and a wine flight for another $10.

Tasting menu tonight was minimal and left us hungry. Too much time between courses. The paired wines shined.

Old school architecture, beautiful inside. Food was amazing. Small menu so they concentrate on their dishes and they are great

Had some lamb tortellini on the recommendation of our waiter. I enjoyed it very much.

went here for restaurant week. the prix fixe menu was delicious but the service was AWFUL. we didn't complain but the table next to us waited an hour before they got their food.

The bartender seemed either overworked or grossly incompetent and lacked any sort of personality to make up for the poor service. Food took forever and was mediocre at best. The menu is very limited.
