- Bitter RootEnero 6, 2015Great banh mi, and okay Vietnamese iced coffee. Take it to go, though...the shop smells a little funky.
- Gizem KSeptiembre 28, 2014Hidden gem! Amazing bahn mi sandwiches and summer rolls. Very cheap, fresh and yummy.
- Yedi PegueroMayo 1, 2013My go to is the tofu curry sammich. So. Good. Never even liked tofu until I tried this and then I was hooked!!!!
- Michelle WendyJunio 13, 2013Go for the fresh pressed sugarcane juice!! So damn hard to find in this city but oh so worth it.
- Ariel VieraOctubre 17, 2014The sandwiches are only $5 and they are DELICIOUS. So the decision has been made, you're going. Now.
- The trick: call five minutes ahead of time, say you want a #1 spicy for pick-up, then head to the deli.
- Mitchell PaoneAgosto 6, 2013Call your order in for pick up to avoid all the creative types awkwardly standing around trying to figure out what to order.
- Ranu RajkarnikarAbril 3, 2015Number 1, spicy. So delicious. Take it to the park on Spring and Lafayette and enjoy in the sun!
- VansiJulio 28, 2014If you would like a spicy sandwich ask for extra spicy. The "regular" spicy level is not spicy at all.
- Get the freshly pressed sugar cane juice. The species of sugar cane is lightly sweet and refreshing.
- Vegan lemongrass (spicy) is my fave. New bubble tea counter is nice - the watermelon (ripe watermelon + ice + BlendTec) is really good to beat the summer heat.
- DoubleDeuceJulio 29, 2014They have Vietnamese coffee grinds for purchase. Strong and wonderful coffee.
- Unless you're a crumb wizard, bring a placemat or make one out of napkins when you stay to eat because the crumbs from the crunchy roll WILL end up everywhere. Like sparks flying!
- Josh MateoSeptiembre 27, 2015Holy bahn mi goodness. Nom nom nom. Does anyone actually read these? 💁🏼
- AileenMayo 5, 2012I love their sandwiches but their vietnamese coffee hot or cold always completes the meal too.
- Monica LoJulio 23, 2009The #1 classic is great but I'm in love with the special pâté sandwich. They also have great drinks to choose from- the salty lemon soda and basil seed drink are my fave.
- Michael JacobsonJulio 24, 2014This place has the real $5 footlong. It's delicious, large, and at a great price.
- Don't overlook the interesting beverage selection. Go for the basil seed juice.
- J TamFebrero 12, 2011Get a #1 (house sandwich). Ask for fresh peppers & not hot sauce. Chicken is good option for something more warming.
- maybe my favorite banh mi in Chinatown. go for the #1
- Marcus SamuelssonAgosto 11, 2010Great lunch sandwich for a great price! I eat the Bánh mì cari gà - Curry chicken (spicy) when I'm there! Leer más
- This is the best Banh Mi in NYC. #3 extra spicy.
- stephiedooMayo 23, 2011Get the chicken if you're not feeling the pork. Tasty. Skip the Vietnamese coffee though, too sweet.
- For under $5 you get a huge sandwich -- like having 2 for the price of one. Summer rolls are also a delight!
