- John BeelerJulio 20, 2012If you're flying US Airways you're SOL at the AA Admiral's Club and Delta Sky Club with AMEX Plat & Centurion...
- Now long termparking shuttles won't let you off curbside. You have to skybridge it! Call or write SAN and complain....for now allow time to get there.
- Don't book an AA code share with Alaska and expect to go standby. Even as AAPlat or explat.
- To all the d-bags that seem to think you have to practically stand on the baggage claim belt - its ok to stand behind the line black line and NOT stand right in front of a person waiting on their bag.
- dropping people off is much nicer now that you do it on the second floor
- They close the TSA pre line a lot here but terminal 2 has a Phil's BBQ!
- Zeqing LiMarzo 29, 2014Transfer in San Diego Airport is painful. You need to go out of security and wait for a small shuttle bus to transfer you to other terminal.
- Ranked #10 most dangerous airport to land worldwide... Ill worry about that when I get back... SD love
- After going thru the body scan, reward yourself with a cocktail before your flight!
- The terminal construction has many of the food spots closed so unless you want California Pizza Kitchen bring your own food.
- Chrystal MillsMarzo 22, 2014Just want a beer & some food & a seat. Seems impossible in the southwest area ???
- Terminal two is absolutely fantastic, terminal one leaves quite a bit to be desired.
- Use Torrey pines town car to get to airport. Best car service around. They treat you like royalty.
- Todd MillerJulio 15, 2014Some connecting flights require you to exit and re-enter security. Be prepared for the delay.
- FYI no Starbucks inside security for Terminal 1 Gates 1&2 area... Get your fix before going in!
- San Diego's Bowl GamesNoviembre 30, 2010Welcome to San Diego, bowl game fans! Get ready for some epic college football games! Remember the words of our unofficial mascot Ron Burgundy: "Stay Classy San Diego"
- Love Alaska Air, but their terminal here isn't my fave. Super small, not much to do while you wait for your flight.
- Austin Gardner-SmithMayo 9, 2011If you need to charge your phone, look for one of the seats with blue LED-backlight power hubs. #nerdalert
- Visit the new Pannikin in terminal 2 for food and coffee.
- Pretty and clean but bags always take forever to arrive. They also often tell you the wrong carousel number.
- Ok people...you're limited to one (1) carry-on and one (1) personal item. And once on the plane put your coat under your seat. Leave the overhead bins for other passengers' bags.
- The food courts are closed due to endless construction. If you pass a food stop you like, take it.
- If you're flying Southwest or Frontier don't plan on finding a place to drink post security.
- Not much to it, but easy to get around and fairly quick and painless with TSA-Pre.
- Andrew ConleyMayo 22, 2010BUY THE EXPRESS TICKETS! They cost a little more.. but it helps! You get to go through the FAST security lane..It saved me a lot of time!
- Chris VelascoDiciembre 25, 2011There's a girl named "Lica" at cpk. Be nice to her cuz she was really nice to me. :)
- I enjoy the pat downs. Truly some of the best on the west coast!
- Mike F.Agosto 31, 2011If you are military you can go through first class line at security checkpoint! minimal waiting :-)
- To all the d-bags that seem to think you have to practically stand on the baggage claim belt - its ok to stand behind the black line and NOT stand right in front of a person waiting on their bag.
- Come on, SAN. What's up in Terminal 1 with no seating at the gates? Remodel is called for!
- You can do mobile checking here! Check in at home and just use your smart phone as your boarding pass!
- The commuter terminal is super fast! Best way to fly out of San Diego
- Stone Brewing Company for some San Diego's finrst beer.
- Erica OtaSeptiembre 4, 2013For being such a big city...this airport sure is small. Maybe its just Terminal 1. And the food choices are VERY limited, unless you like sandwiches. Seems thats what Terminal 1 only carries.
- If flying Southwest, get your boarding pass first, then get in the Express Bag Drop-off line. Both those lines are short.
- Check in for Continental at United (for domestic flights at least; I'm not sure about international). Yeah, that's confusing.
