The places I visited during my trip to Japan (May 22nd through 31st 2010) through the Business International Education Grant.
1. NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building
Sandra Acres: The third tallest building in Tokyo and the world's largest clocktower.
2. Shinjuku Washington Hotel
Sandra Acres: Good location, centrally located in Shinjuku.
3. Shinjuku Washington Hotel Annex
Sandra Acres: The Annex has a laundry room on the second floor as well as a relaxation room with massage chairs. Leer más.
4. 佐鳴予備校 東京総本社
Sandra Acres: Sanaru Yobikou (prep school) as seen from the Washington Hotel.
5. UNIQLO
Sandra Acres: Cool clothes, manga and anime related t-shirts too.
6. Yunika Vision
Sandra Acres: Three 100 square meter video screens on the side of the Yunika Building. Leer más.
7. ABC-MART 新宿本店
Sandra Acres: Tons of shoes at very affordable prices. The large sign makes for a good waymarker.
8. National Olympics Memorial Youth Center
Sandra Acres: Convenient location to Yoyogi Park, good food in the dining room. A good place for traveling students, but lots of steps.
9. エスパスタワー2000
Sandra Acres: Espace Tower has a pachinko parlor and impressive facade. Leer más.
10. Humax
Sandra Acres: The street leading to Humax. The bar St. James is on the left, stop in for a drink.
11. St. James
Sandra Acres: The street in front of St. James (on the left), you can see Humax in the distance.
12. リトルスプーン
Sandra Acres: A very good restaurant, give it a try if you're in the neighborhood.
13. Himalaya Curry
Sandra Acres: Small, but delicious, tucked away on a back street. Recommended!
14. Condomania 原宿店
Sandra Acres: Like the sign says, "be safe!"
15. Jonathan's
Sandra Acres: Jonathans has a few Western-style dishes in the vein of Denny's. They have bilingual menus as well.
16. Kiddy Land
Sandra Acres: Everything you want when it comes to Japanese toys. They have Figma and Busou Shinki figures too.
17. Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower
Sandra Acres: Home to a fashion school, design college and medical school, Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower is the 17th tallest building in Tokyo.
18. EMILIO PUCCI 銀座店
Sandra Acres: Marilyn Monroe was buried in a green Emilio Pucci dress, and the line is best known by their colorful prints. Upstairs is Tailor Takahashi.
19. Toraya Karyo
Sandra Acres: Very pretty store with some great desserts.
20. Sapporo Chiba Brewery
Sandra Acres: Free beer tastings!
21. Yoyogi Park
Sandra Acres: Lots of crows, a very nice rose garden, and quite a few homeless people. A good place to cut through to get to Harajuku.
22. Engaku-ji Temple
Sandra Acres: Very inspiring and enlightening, well worth the trip. A beautiful environment.
23. Great Buddha of Kamakura
Sandra Acres: Overwhelmingly beautiful, the first Buddha I ever saw in person. You can buy some lovely inscense here too.
24. Bridgestone Museum of Art
Sandra Acres: Well worth visiting with some great Impressionist paintings.
25. 夏島貝塚
Sandra Acres: Natsushima Kaizuka near the Nissan Plant.
26. Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building
Sandra Acres: Foggy when I visited, but nice souveniers.
27. 日産自動車 追浜工場 アドビル
Sandra Acres: This is where they make the Nissan Cube and Leaf.
28. Shinjuku Oogado E. Intersection
Sandra Acres: An impressive intersection in the heart of Shinjuku.
