- Felipe P.Agosto 13, 20173 rides you cannot miss. El Toro, Kingda Ka and Nitro. Front row. Enjoy! Important: If you are coming from NYC or Jersey , there are buses from Penn Station with great prices and park bundle options.
- The two best coasters (amongst the best in the world) are the steel hyper coaster Nitro that drops you 215 feet at 80 mph and the modern wooden coaster El Toro with a 76 degree, 70 mph first drop.
- Oleg GaevoyMayo 24, 2017I felt in love with this crazy place.Must try all roller coasters.should arrive 1 hour before the park will be opened.Food is okay, lines are too big in a middle of day and you gotta await 20-30 min.
- Omer AshkenaziJunio 10, 2018A great place to get some sun in NJ if you don’t want to go to the beach! The rides are fun and the lazy river is the best
- Michelle KramerJunio 16, 2012Definitely get the flash pass so you can skip all the lines! The best rides are Kingda Ka, El Toro, Nitro, and the Green Lantern. Finish the day with a funnel cake or dippin' dots and you're all set!
- The lazy river is a half mile long!! On busy days, it is recommended to rent one for five dollars. It is your to keep for the day and you can go on several rides with it.
- Sarah KremerAbril 9, 2015Stop at wawa for lunch or dinner, don't forget to get your hand stamped if your leaving in the afternoon and coming back. The park food is expensive and it costs about 400 dollars for a family of 4.
- Berk KapiciogluMayo 22, 2014Best roller coaster park near New York. Nitro, Kinda Ka, and El Toro are memorable. Flash pass is useful to avoid the crowds. Unfortunately, park is too crowded and promotes unnecessary consumption.
- Sarah BinderJulio 10, 2015Most of the roller coasters are excellent. Avoid Green Lantern or save it until last so your headache doesn't ruin your day. Safari was fun. I went over the 4th of July weekend...fireworks & no lines!
- ℳ𝒶𝓎♍Diciembre 19, 2019Well, it's not a Disney park, but it's about as good as you're going to get in NJ. Great rides and so much fun. Use the Six Flags app. once you get into the park to help gauge wait times
- The place can be tough when it's really hot, and the line waits are often prohibitive. But go at the right time and you can have a blast! My kids are ride fanatics and are thrilled every time we come.
- Quite possibly, the best theme park in the world. Get there early and map out what you want to do... there really isn't enough time to do all the rides in one day when it's packed in the park.
- John ΤσεντζεληςJulio 25, 2015Great place to take the family and I recommend getting the flash pass! Lines build up and if you're soaked while it's a bit breezy, you'll be freezing!
- Jason VanderhornAgosto 13, 2014Love riding the rides. Best time to go is mid week on a day of questionable weather. Short line = great time. Don't be a fool eat outside of the park.
- Amazing theme park in the northeast.. One of the best with a wide assortment of rides and roller coasters... Very close to NYC and Philadelphia..
- Rewan PartiMayo 25, 2015Go in early and try to book tickets online with coupons or your employer benefits. On a good sunny day, reach early as the lines get big by 12pm. Also, on a busy day get gold fast pass to skip lines.
- Michael CallowayJulio 1, 2017Leave your phone in the car, or pay for the locker fees, most of the rides don't allow you to bring your phone, bag, drink, anything on them anymore. I think I had my last Great Adventure.
- Love Six Flags in general, I don't recommend fright fest. Lines much longer then regular season. Hope to go back in the spring and get in some more coasters!
- Brian ChaAgosto 19, 2014Search for a coupon online; always something available. Purchase Gold Flash Pass; well worth it. If you plan to drink alcohol, bring two forms of ID cause they take hold ID for Flash Pass.
- Richard BoulwareSeptiembre 16, 2012You must ride Kingda Ka... There is NO other experience like it! If you plan to ride it hands-up... brace yourself for the initial thrust on the level take-off... your shoulders will thank you!
- Amy SquierAgosto 30, 2013Tons of roller coasters and huge park! So much to do. Just beware though. You have to put your stuff in lockers before every coaster. Kinda annoying and costs money each time of course....
- Arrive early! If you're purchasing season passes the best value is early September Flash sale. Check with your local recreation department for discounted tickets for a day.
- Zeb HoltSeptiembre 29, 2013Highly recommend the Wild Safari tour. Definitely worth the extra bit to feed the giraffes!
- Victor MartinsNoviembre 3, 2015Don't leave without checking Kingda Kaa and El Toro coasters. Also, if you don't have much time, Fast Pass is recommended since lines can be 3h long.
- Marilyn ROctubre 26, 2014Arrive early for the closest regular parking spot. Parking and early entry (15 minutes, really?) to the Park for season pass holders. Seems everyone has a season pass now, LOL! Have fun!
- Maria RodriguezAgosto 21, 2012Six Flags great adventure New Jersey-awesome rides all day long, Good chinese food at Panda Express. and the scenic view from Skyfari is amazing! Fright Feast in late Sept to Oct.
- Lee FarrellSeptiembre 21, 2013Best theme park in Pennsylvania! Numerous rides that are all different, to a great fun, water park! Your kids are due to have a wonderful time here!
- Bri HansenMarzo 11, 2012Don't Miss Live & Local - Great local bands take the stage and hang out with fans in the middle of the park. Check out Dead & Local around Halloween as well when the theatrics match the season.
- Laurel HoffmanSeptiembre 8, 2013Safari is completely worth it. Highly recommend giraffe feeding. And of course the coasters are top notch. Props to the amazing staff there as well.
- Michael SalesMarzo 21, 2013El Toro and Nitro are the best rides in the park! If you are going for Fright Fest and purchase the wristband for all of the Haunted Attractions, good luck! Don't waste any of that time!
- Amrita PJunio 16, 2013The coasters are all a lot of fun but the only way to hit them all on a weekend is to get a flash pass. Food is expensive. There are lockers to store your bags. El Toro and Nitro are the scariest.
- Sandra FoytJunio 26, 2013Drink deal: $16/refillable all day (w/wristband) and the cup is allowed on rides like off road safari that doesn't allow open drinks.
- Sarah KremerAbril 9, 2015If you are Jewish and looking for kosha food, it's in kids safari (located over by skull mountain) at oasis café. Also if your Jewish all phones must be in a pocket or with a non rider.
- Fabrice MandonSeptiembre 4, 2013Spend a good day with your family ; special rides , small attractions for small kids , a nice moment to share
- Paulie YagualOctubre 7, 2013Awesome time!! Although the market nd shopping places should be more careful who they have working. Customer service was not so good!! Overall great time!!!
- This park keeps going down. They do not handle the crowds. It should not take 1/2 hour to get in. They need to add some more shows They used to have music shows. Best rides Nitro and Kinda Kaaaaaaa!!!
- jennifer thierbachOctubre 11, 2013this park has the best coasters like kingda ka, el toro , bizarro and nitro. get a season pass and you get a coupon book savings of $300.00 with lots of great deals.
- Colleen SmithJulio 17, 2013Season Pass is $64.99 good unitl September. $79 includes Fright Fest. Parking can be added on to or else you pay $22 each visit.
- Janneke BoekhorstAgosto 10, 2023Awesome park. Kingda Ka is the g.o.a.t. Nice rollercoaster in the whole park, standing, sitting, lying roller coasters; you can all find them here!
- Juanita DorsonneAbril 17, 2017The park is great. They have very long waits for rides. 1 hour to 1:30 for popular rides. The food is great good variety. They could use better signs.
- Christina ChinMayo 16, 2016El toro and nitro are my favs, superman is a different sensation. Green lantern will leave you with a headache from the head banging.
- Cole TJunio 12, 2017What a great park; big fan of Nitro, Superman, and El Toro. Kingda Ka is fun but overrated. Clean park and immense in size.
