Washington PostMarzo 14, 2013Stoney's grilled cheese isn't particularly imaginative, but it's a classic. The Super comes with the standard American cheese, salty, buttered toast, layers of bacon, tomato and onion.
If you like the grilled cheese, ask for the Freddie ... It's a super grilled cheese with chicken fingers on it as well. Get them tossed in BBQ sauce for a truly out of this world sandwich.

grilled cheese is king. Trivia on Wednesdays is really fun but you have to get there 1+ hours early to save seats
Buffalo wings are a must. Crispy skin + nice coating of wing buffalo goodness. Plus that ranch with tarragon (I think) is crack in sauce form.

A very good neighborhood bar that you'll like more each time you go. Lots of locals, me included. Good burger, better buffalo chicken sandwich. Avoid the pizzas. The super grilled cheese and the mac and cheese are two of my favorite things other than the burgers. Very friendly service!
The pizza is great, but the grilled cheese is amazing! Good beer selection and cool vibe - nice mixed crowed.

Brunch is served Sat and Sun from 11 to 3. It's a great, simple, brunch menu that is sure to please anyone :)

Meh. Wannabe comfortable neighborhood pub with beers that are too pricey and bad bar food that is noticeable only for its grease content. You could do worse, but you could also do better.
- I'm sorry, but food here sucks. No flavor at all, besides grease and salt. Don't believe the hype , the super grilled cheese is disgusting, and tastes like...salt. The burgers are similarly bad.
